TLDR: If you're on a super tight timeline (we had four months!!!!) and looking for a venue that does it all and THEN some for a really great price, this is the place for you!! I SWEAR. I literally had zero stress in any of the big decisions because they did it all for us! In-house catering with amazing food (guests raved about it during and after wedding), setup and cleanup without you needing to worry, in-house bartending, three different wedding package tiers to fit your budget, and the dreamiest venue site with history (dates back to 1850). My biggest stress was finding the right decor and my dress! Huge huge shout out to coordinatorsMeaghan and Brandi, who were the best with easy, quick and constant communication, and made sorting the details really fun. --- More details: We were planning a wedding in four months, as my husband is active duty in the navy and was set to leave in late July. We toured the venue days after finding it, and booked a date day-of after our tour. All we needed to do was pick what food we wanted (they were able to accomadate us doing a tasting on the weekend because military schedules are tough), what beverage package we wanted, and any add-ons. Throughout the four months, Meaghan was so easy to make changes and update our estimates as we wanted to add on or remove things. On the day of the wedding, I handed over a list of details on how to decorate the reception area and Meaghan, Brandi and staff did NOT disappoint. It was absolutely PERFECT. They were there to help my poor best friend's boyfriend MC the wedding with tips on what to say. Meaghan had a ceremony script on-hand when the officiant didn't have one (and showed up late; she was ready to officiate for us if she needed). They even kept the dance floor open for a few extra songs as T and I didn't get a chance to dance pretty much after our first dance and parent dances (we were pulled every which way). And when it came to tearing down after the fact, everything was boxed up and ready to go by the end of the night. I could write so much more, I literally love them so much for everything they did for us. Milton Ridge was absolutely perfect.

We had our reception here on 2/18/24. Colt was so easy to work with and answered every question I had. Everything was included so I had zero stress in planning our day. When we arrived, after the ceremony, the ballroom was beautiful! It was stunning and breathtaking. All our guests were amazed at how beautiful it was and they said it was the best wedding they had been to. Colt was very professional and the decor I brought he put that out for us as well. Very elegant wedding reception. I have nothing negative to say about this venue and it was the best night ever. Go see Colt. You won’t be sorry!

I cannot say enough good things about District Winery. They make the entire wedding process less stressful and fun. Every conversation we had with the team was extremely positive. They ensure that you consider every detail. They also host an amazing tasting event for couples, which was so helpful for us as we selected our menu. On the day of the wedding, the entire staff made sure that we had everything that we needed throughout the day. Also, their food is amazing! Multiple of our guests told us that it was the best wedding food they ever had. My husband and I are so grateful that we decided to have our wedding at District Winery and would recommend it to anyone.

10 stars on a 5 star scale!! Comus farms and event coordinator Lauren, we’re beyond amazing. The venue: the farm is incredible and has everything you could hope for. And when they don’t have something Lauren gets it! The scenery is beautiful and varied. The barn is comfortable, easy, and elegant and we never had to worry about weather: the rain plan was just as beautiful as the fine weather plan. Having the farm house to get ready is incredible! It’s a long day and we used every perfectly outfitted room and the fabulous welcome basket treats. Having a kitchen was a game changer and as the wedding party got bigger over the course of the day lots of living spaces made it easy and fun. The staff: Lauren and her people (including her husband) are amazing. We didn’t have enough menus which we discovered as tables were being set: magically another 50 appeared. She has experience, wisdom, calm, and style—all of which we benefited from. Last minute changes, she’s got it. Things you didn’t think of, she has. She coordinated with vendors and let us drop off a truckload of “stuff” at our convenience. It was a perfect day. Thank you.

Brookside Gardens was an amazing venue and the staff there are amazing. There are a wide variety of different venue locations that are all beautiful in their own way. The Brookside Gardens team was amazing. Jennifer in particular went above and beyond but the whole team was really helpful. From the beginning of our wedding planning process to the day of, the folks at Brookside Gardens were super helpful. Jennifer helped us envision our perfect wedding ceremony and reception and made sure it happened just as we had planned. On the day of our wedding, Jennifer and the team were GREAT and helped the day of coordinator as well as all the other vendors navigate the grounds and get things where they needed to be. It's a beautiful venue and the people running it are just as great!

After we first got engaged, we had a specific idea in mind for how we wanted the day to look. We were going for a rustic/1920s style. Saying it out loud probably sounded odd. Our first (and only as it turned out) stop was Cherry Hill. It’s literally a hidden gem in the DC area. The pavilion was absolutely beautiful to have our ceremony in and using the chapel as our cocktail hour room before going to the ballroom was perfect. Not to mention most everyone stayed at the grounds so there was no worry about driving or other issues. They supplied a tractor to take us around the grounds for photos and relaxation time before our reception entrance. The decorations that Linda helped us with in every location around the camp ground was absolutely perfect- she saw our inspirations and made them BETTER. I seriously cannot say enough about the amazing team at Cherry Hill Park and everything it has to offer for those wanting to get married. Did I mention I was a Covid bride? Talk about stress and changes happening daily but Linda was always there to talk me through it and make the day as close to what my husband and I wanted as possible with circumstances. I swear, it turned out better than we ever imagined even pre-pandemic! I could talk all day about how amazing the people and location is.

The stunning, classic styled banquet room is perfect for receptions. We could not have been more pleased with the location and the amenities provided. Even better than the facility are the wedding coordinators, Ashley and Juliette. They were both so helpful, from the very first meeting. Ashely was always prompt when responding to my many inquiries. Despite all of my questions, they both were kind and accommodating with everything. They did everything in their power to provide everything we requested to make our day perfect. Their day-of coordination was so needed. Juliette kept everything flowing smoothly throughout the day. I am so grateful that we found this venue, because it was the perfect choice for us. It was the first venue we looked at, and easily the best. I would recommend anyone to use the Westfields for their wedding! You won't be disappointed!

My husband and I had a tiny COVID wedding and chose Mess Hall as our venue for a post-wedding party to celebrate with all of our friends a year later. Our experience working with the team at Mess Hall was completely wonderful from start to finish! When we first saw Mess Hall and met with Al, we knew we’d found the right place for our party. It was such a warm first meeting, just checking out the venue over a couple of beers, and we could totally picture ourselves and our friends in the cool, laid-back space. We knew right away that we could trust Al to help us pull off our vision for the party. A few months later, Mess Hall added their new event coordinator Jordan, who is absolutely wonderful. Great vibes from the entire team—incredibly supportive, willing to do anything to make our party perfect, and always at the ready with helpful suggestions when we needed them. The day of the party, we felt so loved and supported by everyone at Mess Hall while we collaborated on setting things up (Al personally helped us hang our neon sign and disco ball) and put the finishing touches on our vision. Jordan and Al both made sure everything went smoothly all night—and we have Jordan to personally thank for documenting the party on our polaroid camera! It was a perfect night and we can’t recommend Mess Hall highly enough!

Every couple that I photograph at this location always tells me how happy they are with their choice. The background is so beautiful, the location is great and the team working on wedding days does a fantastic job with the vendors. The big plus of the venue is the parking available on-site, making all the logistics a lot easier than other venues in DC.
