Proud Cat & Dog Mom // Your New Wedding Vendor BFF It’s never been just about pretty flowers to me. I started out in social work because I wanted to serve and connect with others. I first entered the floral design world as an intern in 2016 and noticed a lack of originality in designs and a need for more connection between the florist and the couple. When I started WFD in 2019, I decided to prioritize both artistic designs and building long-term relationships with each couple. Planning my own wedding in 2021 gave me an even deeper appreciation for the importance of receiving creative expertise and genuine support from wedding vendors.

Where do I even begin?! Misha was more than I could have asked and dreamt for in a florist, and then some. I was lucky enough to find several of our vendors through friends and word of mouth being in the wedding industry myself, but I was struggling to find the perfect florist. Mainly because I never thought had a “vision” or “theme,” especially for my florals.. that was until Misha’s work popped up on my feed while searching hashtags. I had never seen such large, beautiful bouquets until I came across her work. Then came our first video chat, and in that very moment, I knew we found our girl. She was kind, warm, and laughed with me through my awkwardness I exude every time I speak to someone on FaceTime for the first time. I wasn’t sure what to expect from her mood board considering my style was something she called, “boho, chic, with a hint of modern,” LOL- but when I tell you I screamed when I saw her proposal!!! She really heard me and that’s all every bride could ever ask for. The icing on the cake was when Misha created a group on social media for past and future Woodland brides, to bounce ideas of of each other’s, vent, talk about tv shows, and just be brides. Never did I think she would host an event in her own home, but when she did, it even further solidified I made the right choice. Meeting Misha in person made things so special and intimate, and added to my excitement for my florals tenfold. Wedding planning is A LOT- to kick back with a cider and spend time with other brides and our florist was exactly what I needed. Then came my wedding day.. *cue the tears* My bouquet was simply incredible. I truly have no words to describe how it felt seeing it for the first time and all I could do was hug her. I could have never even imagined it to be that beautiful. Our arbor, the bridesmaid bouquets, the bud vase centerpieces.. my wedding decor would have been nothing without her adding those perfect touches. Misha puts her heart and soul into everything she creates and it shows. I could go on for days about this sweet soul and her talent, but as I said, RUN, DON’T WALK to Woodland Floral Design. If nothing else, get to know your vendors. Make sure they hear you and your vision. And if you’re lucky like me, you’ll have a new friend at the end of it all. XOXO

    Helianthus and Lace

    5.0

    Linglestown, PA
    • Starts at $3,000

Helianthus and Lace is a wedding and event floral design business serving the deeply in love and aiming to glorify Jesus through it all. Helianthus is the Latin term for sunflower and comes from the root Helio and Greek Helios, meaning Sun. As sunflowers are growing and beginning to bloom, they turn their heads towards the sun - I find this to be a great analogy for faith in Jesus. As we are growing and blooming in any stage of life, we should be continually turning our heads to the Son. Flowers have been a part of my life since 2014, and I have been flowering weddings since 2018. I'm so glad you are here!

Amanda was amazing to work with. She was so sweet and helpful throughout the planning process and really listened to what we wanted. From the bouquets to the centerpieces to the shared arbor/mantle piece…it just kept getting better the more we saw. She stayed after the ceremony to move the arbor/mantle piece between the two spots to insure it didn’t get damaged by anyone else moving it. The communication was great, and her pricing was 100% fair (I would actually say inexpensive for how well her work is!). Amanda, thank you x a million (again lol) for being such a huge part of our day and truly making it what we wanted. 10/10 recommend!

    Pam's Petals

    5.0

    Lititz, PA

I grew up running around after my mom in her gardens and spent most of high school in the art department. I went off to design school and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. Soon after, I started my first “real” design job and have been working in the industry in either commercial or residential design ever since, giving me thirty-five years of design experience. A second related career in Floral Design was added to my skill set when I was employed as a part-time floral designer and trained at Longwood Gardens. I decorated twenty-one Christmas trees that year and did a lot of beautiful custom designs.

There is so much to say about Pam and her artistic capabilities! Pam did my sister's wedding in 2022 and my baby shower in 2023 and I was blown away by her attention to detail, creativity, innovative thinking and artistic understanding each time. For my baby shower she was keenly able to bring to my vision to life and exceeded my expectations! And with my sister’s wedding she also went above and beyond by helping build and put together an overall vision. Not only does she hold your hand throughout the process if you need her to, but she will bring it to life and do so graciously, in a timely manner and without a doubt of letting you down. Working with her was a breeze and she always went the extra mile. I think that's the unique thing about Pam, she's able to hear and understand your vision, but even more than that she is able to assess who you are and what fits you most! I believe her flowers speak for themselves - just look at them, truly an art! Could not recommend her enough!!!

      Terra Florals

      5.0

      Spring Grove, PA
      • Starts at $2,000

Loni and the team at Terra Florals provide brides with the best flowers in the mid-Atlantic. When folks who know Loni think of flowers... they think of her. She and her husband are the founders of Terra Florals, the region's premier cut flower farm. Folks come from across the country to visit the farm's huge cut flowers fields and stay at the on-farm bed and breakfast. With legendary design skills and a massive following, Loni leads design classes, coaches local growers and provides flowers for many of the area's florists and designers. Even if her calendar is too full to build your dream wedding florals... be sure to demand her flowers.

Loni was amazing to work with! My husband and I had a very short engagement (4 months total) and were looking for someone who wouldn't sacrifice our vision and still be able to help us pull off our wedding date in such a short notice. From our very first interaction with Loni, she was super communicative and provided plenty of details and suggestions based on the floral vision we provided. Her experience at multiple other wedding venues, as well as ours, helped us navigate better what our vision would look like practically and visually. Loni met with us before our wedding to get a feel for our personalities and get a better idea of our requests. Neither my husband (then fiance) or I are flower people but from the few example pictures we showed Loni, she seemed to know exactly what we wanted. To be honest, I had seen Loni's work elsewhere and I knew she had the style I liked. From there, I basically left it all up to her and she delivered beyond what I could have asked for! Her floral arrangement was stunning for our wedding and I felt like it really complimented my personality and the style I wanted at our wedding as a whole. The bridal bouquet was exactly how I had asked and the bridesmaid bouquets all complimented it perfectly as well! I really can't say enough good things about Loni - she was communicative, detailed, offered her expertise, coordinated with other vendors, read our style well, and finally provided the most beautiful florals I could have asked for on my wedding day! And she was so easy to work with as far as coordinating times, arrivals, and set up. Would highly recommend choosing Terra Florals as your floral vendor for your wedding!

      Fiddlestix Florals and Wedding Coord

      5.0

      Gettysburg, PA
      • Starts at $1,500

My earliest memories are always centered around picking flowers in my mothers gardens. I would grab one of the glass bottles she collected and play around with any flowers I could find. Flower design is my passion. My shop is located in our 150 year old barn that in itself is full of character. I try to be a vendor who is easy and fun to work with. I am human and understand money does not grow on trees so I try my hardest to work within the client's budget. Each bouquet I create tells a story, each unique beautiful.

      Pretty Posies By Nichole

      4.0

      Littlestown, PA
      • Starts at $2,500

Meet Nichole Klunk, the owner and lead floral designer at Pretty Posies by Nichole. My husband Ashley and I have been married for 16 years. Our two wild and full of energy sons keep us busy! Family is everything to us! I have always been a flower lover... Even as a child I would harvest all my grandmothers blooming flowers. Then make bouquets with them for my family. So it was no surprise in 2009 when I volunteered to arrange my cousins wedding flowers and fell in love! After that I was hooked and knew I wanted to pursue this as my career. So I complete a floral design course with Ashworth College in 2009 with honors.

      Splints & Daisies

      5.0

      Mountville, PA
      • Starts at $4,000

Tara has been a long time flower lover and plant geek. Growing up she was a rambunctious toddler and decided to get a head start in the horticulture industry by eating her mothers house plants. This mostly resulted in the poison control center being called repeatedly, but also instilled in her the love of all things "green and growing". She has had her hands in the dirt and been playing with flowers her whole life. With an art background in her family, florals became her artistic expression.

Tara, owner of Splints & Daisies, is truly one of the best wedding florists in Central PA to work with! Not only is she a fun person to be around, but her creative and unique floral creations are always wowing us and our clients! We have worked with Tara since we opened in 2014 and she has collaborated with us for multiple open houses & special events to showcase our venue and ALWAYS goes above and beyond with floral displays & installs. Her visions are one-of-a-kind and always delivers! We also love that she sources her flowers locally and uses sustainable supplies (in an industry where waste is real, she makes a conscious effort to do her part to help avoid waste!). Our couples & clients that we refer to Tara are always blown away by her floral creations and are so happy that they chose Splints & Daisies for their day!

      Ever After Floral Design

      5.0

      Myerstown, PA
      • Starts at $2,750

Local artist/entrepreneur Rachel Stevenson has made wedding and event floral design her life's passion. She has been a floral designer since 2004, first at a floral shop in Lancaster County and then branching out on her own business venture in 2008 doing exclusive wedding designs from her floral studio in Myerstown. She has received training not only from her former floral position but also advanced training specifically in wedding design from instructors at the Longwood Gardens Design School.

I highly recommend Rachel as a florist!! She was so nice and easy to work with and helped a lot with choosing the floral arrangements and flowers. I had a general idea of what I was looking for and what I liked and she brought that vision to life. The arrangements were stunning and soo many people complimented them at the ceremony and reception. She incorporated candles as well and everything was stunning!

      • Starts at $3,500

Richwine’s Nature’s Gifts is floral studio in S. Central PA, specializing in wedding and event custom florals. Carol, a former floral design teacher & growing farmer-florist, uses upscale blooms sourced from sustainable farms & her cutting gardens whenever possible. Beauty, craftsmanship, and joy are crafted in every design! Beautiful Blooms. Every One.

We absolutely loved working with Carol! She took our color palette and ran with it. Our gazebo arrangement stayed fresh and beautiful despite. 90 degree day. She was attentive through the whole planning process and day of wedding. The night before the wedding, she offered to make an additional piece for our memory table and fill the bridesmaid bouquets more! You can tell that Carol loves what she does and we couldn’t have been more happy with our fall arrangements! We also love that she grows her own florals on site and only orders what she can’t grow. Definitely go local and book Carol for your wedding. You won’t be disappointed!
