Hi I’m Taylor Anne! She/her! I’m a published editorial fashion and wedding photographer based out of Dallas, Texas! I knew for certain that I wanted to be a photographer on a trip to Paris with my mom in 2005. I had a small little point and shoot digital camera that I used to take photos of literally everything around the city. I got artistic with the sunset over the Seine, and caught a couple having a romantic moment on the bridge. It was then that I said to myself, “Oh, I actually kind of like this,” and began the process of photographing for the next 16 years.

My first wedding day to capture was two years after I had started freelancing; a day I will never forget, Valentine's Day, 2014, in Hot Springs, AR. Little did I know how my focus would shift from that day forward. In the past seven years since then, I am honored to have captured more than three-dozen weddings. It never fails that each of those days are full of such unique beauty and character, but most importantly, they are full of loving memories of a lifetime.

We aim to create an experience that gives you incredible memories in addition to stunning photographs. My friends tell me I use big words without knowing what they mean, but I just think that's obsequious. Right now, I have a mustache and mullet. I started them as a joke but I've become emotionally attached to them. I've been the world's coolest photographer now for about 6 years. I spend your hard-earned money on Nespresso pods, traveling, backpacking and camping trips, and rent. I live downtown.

I'm Danielle Maggio, owner and principal photographer at Artful Documentary Photography. I’m based in Dallas, TX after having lived and worked in Southeast Asia for six years prior. I'm a classically trained photographer with an education in art and photography from MICA (Maryland Institute College of Art) in Baltimore, MD. As a student, I worked as an intern for various wedding and portrait photographers and learned a ton! Now, after 10 years I still love capturing love stories.
