We have a large, unique barn made of natural, recycled materials of strawbales for insulation and recycled wine bottles for light and design. You no longer see the strawbales in the wall as they have been covered with a hydraulic lime the same material castles in France for hundreds of years have been made from. The inside is a museum quality white lime finish with unique curves with sun shining through the patterned wine bottle walls to give a unique backdrop.

High on a bluff towering over the James River, this exquisite Georgian Revival offers 16,000 square feet of opulence, built by Taylor and Parrish Construction from 1981-1987. This stately Georgian features an upper brick promenade surrounded by a limestone balustrade and opens to a double curved staircase to the lower terrace. The mansion's interior boasts extravagant architectural embellishment. Marble floors, ornamental cornices, plaster friezes, 18-foot columns with gilded Corinthian capitals, and custom crystal chandeliers please the eye from the onset. A Jeffersonian pool house with a hexagonal raised dome presides over a circular pool with bluestone terraces and a limestone balustrade. Nearby, you will discover a tennis court complete with a covered viewing stand. Event Central in Newport News, VA includes an event hall, chapel, and social area. Book your special wedding day at our newly redecorated event facility. Our wedding package is $2200. for the day and includes all the following areas: decorated social area, decorated chapel, event hall, lounge, kitchen, bar area, & dressing rooms. If the wedding chapel isn't needed, our event hall can be booked by the hour ($125.) or the day ($1000.). Our facility seats up to 102 and comes with free use of easels, backdrop, round tables, white chavari chairs, cake stage w/table & uplights, dj stage w/table, facade, & uplights, head stage w/table, 2 thrones, uplights, & backdrop.
