I enjoy oat milk latte’s, house plants, home decor, colorful florals, reading, and feeding people. I love and serve Jesus. I’m also newly married to my husband Jared who is wonderful and my favorite person to be around. I enjoy capturing moments that are sweet, genuine, and full of love. I like to describe my style as warm, romantic, and emanating joy.

I fell in love with the art of Photography about 7 years ago and have looked at everything through a viewfinder since. I can't go anywhere without mentally composing a photo or wondering what angle I could use to make something look more interesting. I started taking photos for friends and family and quickly fell in love with the concept of saving a moment forever, in a unique way only I could. The technology surrounding photo-taking has come so far that everyone has the ability to snap a picture with their smartphone just about wherever they're at; but to me, the value of high quality photography will never be outdated or lose it's value.

I’m Megan Thompson, and I am the gal behind the camera at Meganography! I’ve always had a passion for photography, ever since I was a wee little one! When I was approx. 4 years old, my Grandma would let me use her camera to take pictures of my dolls (lol)! I've owned Meganography since 2016, and I've been photographing love since 2017. As you can tell, I LOVE to travel! Please ask about my "wedding bucket list location" list, occasionally I offer discounts in those locations. I also am in love with any and all cats of the world, sunshine, wearing sweatpants/leggings, and Starbucks pink drinks! My goal is to capture your love in every image.

I love to have fun and I put 110% into everything I do. I’m outgoing, talkative, silly, a little sarcastic…but most importantly I’m a mother. I LOVE photography and I got into it after having our first daughter. Like most new parents I wanted to capture everything she did. A little about us, we've been blessed with to cover well over 500 weddings with amazing local clients including a Hallmark CFO, Miss Kansas, and the Kansas City Chiefs several times. We also love to travel locally and internationally and cover destination events several times each year.

I am a fine art wedding photographer and wedding planner, wife, and mother to our three sweet babies! I first fell in love with photography at an early age. I became very inspired watching my father photograph weddings and capturing the authentic joy on his clients best day. It was then that I fell in love with the concept of love and knew what I wanted to do. I went on to film photography in high school and digital photography in college. After college I started a job as a party coordinator. I did this for years. Then, on blind faith started my own journey into the world of photography and wedding planning!
