Hey there! I'm Ashlee! I am the owner of this little company called The Heartfelt Narrative (previously Still Water Wedding Films). I started filming weddings in 2011 and in 2017 I opened my very own company. I strive to make an authentic video for each and every one of my couples that truly reflect them, their love and their story without making your wedding day a Hollywood production.

The world without photography will be meaningless to us if there is no light and color, which opens up our minds and expresses passion. My style is a combination between photojournalism and fine-art photography with a touch of fashion and creative lighting. My photos are inspired by light, color, techniques from black & white processing, vintage photos, creative perspective, and of course, most importantly, the personalities of the people I photograph!
