“Our neighbors recommended Bachelor Boys Band to us when we were planning our wedding (they hired them for all THREE of their kids weddings). We reached out to them and right away they were excited to work with us. We had a super unconventional wedding location (SportRock Climbing Center) and that meant we needed a b and that could fill a giant place with music and entertainment. For the ceremony, they set up a PA for the officiant (15 feet in the air) and we had an acoustic guitar play while we walked down the isle... During the reception 5 musicians performed and they made sure everyone had a great time! They even pulled me aside to tell me how much they enjoyed my wedding, which is SO sweet! “We booked the Signed Sealed Delivered package and Brandon and Kellie exceeded expectations from planning to execution. While they came as a package deal, they each deserve their own review for their excellent work. Brandon from Signature DJs provided the best possible wedding DJ service. In planning the event, he was organized and thorough in working with us on the song list and order of events which he would be emceeing. Yet he took much of the burden off our shoulders by applying extensive experience and was flexible during the event in response to guests’ musical needs. The sound system quality was remarkable. He miked our ceremony, in which there were no sound issues, including the officiant, bride, groom, and a quartet in an expansive indoor space. The sound in the reception was also crisp and voluminous without preventing conversation – a difficult achievement. Complementary to the sound, Brandon provided “up lighting,” the maximum units of which we opted for. I recommend this choice because the lighting significantly supported the festive atmosphere to an extent I did not anticipate, though I trusted Brandon’s assertion that they would. Throughout the reception, Brandon monitored and responded to the energy of the dance floor to keep the party going all the way through the end of our time. He also provided a photo booth with an extensive set of props, which was a big hit with our guests, and which was of impressive, current technology. Finally, and this is the most memorable contribution, during the toasts to the bride and groom, Brandon interjected with a musical complement to a speech, which was perfectly humorous and elevating of the moment. Such an action could easily be detrimental, but Brandon’s judgement and awareness created a memory I will forever treasure. Concurrently, day-of coordinator Kellie was organized, knowledgeable, and delivers 100%. Here are some of the reasons why I highly recommend her. First, Kellie was super organized from the start. She set up a personal website for tracking to-do items and sent reminder emails to keep me on track with planning. She also helped me devise a precise wedding day timeline, reviewed my contracts with other vendors to confirm timing, and coordinated with them as a primary point of contact. She attended my final venue walkthrough and ceremony rehearsal to ensure everything was in order. Secondly, Kellie was very knowledgeable and had an answer for every question or issue. She identified issues I hadn’t considered and gave me advice and suggestions. She also had a great eye for detail and made sure everything looked perfect on the day. She texted me pictures of changes she made for my approval. She was always one step ahead of any problem and handled it before I noticed. Finally, Kellie delivered 100% on the day of the wedding. She showed up on time and immediately took over all setup and vendor instruction. She made sure everything ran smoothly and according to the timeline. She took care of the cleanup and packing at the end of the night. She moved my decoration pieces, cards, gifts, and photo guest book (already filled with the photobooth prints) to my hotel room and displayed them beautifully on a table. I was able to enjoy every moment of my wedding day without stress thanks to her. In summary, hiring Signature DJs Brandon and Kellie was the best decision I made for my wedding day. They went above and beyond what I expected. I cannot imagine better service.”

“Marty was absolutely awesome to work with. I am a comedian and I was hired to perform at a corporate event celebrating 15 years of success. My job was to roast the owners of the company. I had come up with with a way to close my act by tricking one of the owners to come up and sing his favorite karaoke song. It was going to be the perfect closing bit. But, the son of a gun stole the mic in the middle of the night and sang the song before I even got to perform! Marty and I had already worked out the whole thing by phone before I even got there! So then I thought of another important song in the owner's life, but I knew he wouldn't know this one that well. So I had Marty play this instead. His timing was perfect. He waited for my cue and then hit the guy by surprise with the song. And when it was definitely time for this charade end, Marty brought the owner out of it with his dignity in tact. I've worked a lot of events like these and I've worked with a lot of DJs. This is the first time I've ever felt compelled to write a review. Marty just gets it and he went above and beyond, and was thrilled to help me make my part of the show better. Plenty of times DJs just doesn't care. He or she is there to do their part and they're not going that far out of their way to make your life better. But Marty was different. He helped me make something go from good to great, and I can only hope to walk into another gig like that in the future and find Marty spinning tunes behind the turntables.”

“DJ Maskell was the DJ at a wedding we went to several years ago, and even though we weren't even engaged at that point, we immediately asked him for his card because he was hands-down the best DJ at any wedding we'd ever been to. Once we got to the point of planning our wedding, he was the first vendor we reached out to, and working with him was the best decision we made! In addition to being incredible at DJing and giving us the amazing dance party we were hoping for (especially after multiple COVID-related postponements), DJ Maskell also served as a de facto wedding planner in the weeks leading up, since we didn't have a planner. He was incredibly helpful at keeping us on track, and without him, everything would not have gone nearly as smoothly as it did. When we had an incident with the smoke alarm at our venue going off for an extended period of time, DJ Maskell saved the night by playing the perfect music to drown it out. “Where do I begin… THC was the star at our wedding! The two major things I was super excited about for our wedding day (besides marrying my husband lol) were the food and the music, and boy did the music live up to our expectations! Dan and Jesse were so pleasant to work with. They understood the direction/vibe we were looking to have on our special day, and they absolutely delivered! Mariachi Hidalgo was founded in 2017 and is led by our Musical Director Hernan Hidalgo Treviño who is a first-generation musician within his family. At the age of 21, Hernan is New York City’s, as well as the East Coast’s, 1st ever “Youngest Musical Director of a Mariachi Band”. Hernan graduated from the CUNY of Hunter College as a Music and History major to better prepare himself for both the musical and culture of mariachi. Within the first 2 years, Mariachi Hidalgo has performed in some of New York's exclusive places. Hernan's main goal is to inspire and motivate other youths to continue this musical tradition of mariachi.

“My name is Kiyoko Nakamura, my husband is Mexican American, and I am Japanese. We celebrated our 15-year Anniversary here in New York City on December 18th, 2021. (We are from California) I wanted to surprise my husband with a Mariachi Band (he loves Mariachi) that offered quality in service and performance. I have a M.M from Kyoto University for Music & Art, and I fully understand what I was looking for in a Mariachi band. I investigated each Mariachi band here in NYC, their quality as musicians, social media, reviews etc. Many mariachi bands stated, "they are the best" or "Number 1 in NEW YORK CITY", but I can assure you all from looking at their YouTube performances & social medias that they are NOT. A few did play back, had a CD recording of an actual PROFESSIONAL band in the background while these so called "Best in NYC" made it seem as if it was them performing, FALSE advertisement. Once I saw Mariachi Hidalgo NYC, directed person with a B.A in Music & History. (Having a degree in any accredited field is one way to ensure the person knows what they are offering.) I investigated everything about this ensemble before contacting. YouTube , Instagram, all their social medias in order to understand whom I was calling. After checking out everything, proper technique on their instruments and vocals, no play back, presentable, quality musicians. I knew this band was going to be AMAZING! From the moment I called to book them until the performance's date this is what I received. A very professional service to not just me but my husband and guests as well. Very detailed in terms of explaining the full booking process, punctual, proper technique on their instruments & voice, an amazing show that interacts with the crowd. This band had it all! Everyone loved it! Visual Aspect:/ Performance Technical playing, clean suits, well groomed, presentable. 100/100 If you are looking for a mediocre or an economical option or a group to just make noise regardless of how they sound. Then I would not recommend this band for your event. If, however, you are looking for a PROFESSIONAL band to make your special moments even more memorial. Then YES, I recommend this band too you, Mariachi Hidalgo NYC! You will not be disappointed. Overall: Quality, Punctual, Presentable, Professional, Show/Performance, Amazing service from start to finish.
