I got into DJing by accident. After learning that working as an Industrial Engineer in a fortune 500 company didn't bring me much fulfillment, a friend suggested I join his DJ company. Andrew Hoyt is a singer/songwriter born and raised in Des Moines IA. Andrew is a K-5 vocal music teacher and believes that arts education of every kind is vital to a well rounded education. His favored instrument is the ukulele, specifically the Hawaiian KoAloha brand, who sponsor him by providing him with their first class instruments. His musical inspirations include John Mayer, Jason Mraz, and James Taylor among others. Recently signed to Indie label Golden Bear Records, home of The Well Pennies, he is tireless in his pursuit of creating a long lasting and sustainable music career both domestically and internationally.
