Hiropix

5.0

Minneapolis, MN
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $2,400
  • Serves Eagan, MN

Photography is more than a career to me, it's my passion. I want to give you an inspired photographic experience. ‍ Your wedding images should tell your story, not mine or anyone else's. The images should evoke the raw and honest emotions of the love you share. Through my lens, I strive to faithfully translate the love and emotion you feel into timeless and genuine images, so five, ten, or fifty years from the future you can relive that day the same way you experienced it. The timeless photographs will become your treasured and preserved works of art, ready to be gathered together in an album or hung on your walls.

Awarded Best of Zola
Hiropix was a great photographer to work with. We wanted a photographer who was great at candid event shots, and we were very pleased with what Kenny did for us. He requested an initial consult to get to know us and our style, and then a follow-up as the wedding got closer. The day of the wedding everyone was forced to be flexible due to some ill-timed rain/hail, and Kenny was great at getting the families together for portraits between storms. The digital photos were all delivered in an easy user-friendly package. If you are looking for a creative and personable photographer, we recommend Hiropix.

Keighla's Fresh Face Photography

5.0

Norwood Young America, MN
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,600

Since 2010, Keighla's Fresh Face Photography has been dedicated to providing custom, modern portraits for clients. I pride myself on pushing my creativity and skill to bring each client an experience and result as special and one-of-a-kind as they are. Keighla's Fresh Face Photography is owned and operated out of a home office in Carver County, MN. Some of the most frequent places I go include: Waconia, Cologne, Carver, Chanhassen, Edina, Wayzata, Eden Prairie, Minneapolis, Rochester and Duluth, Minnesota. Ask about our travel opportunities and we'll chat!

We love, love, loved working with Keighla for our engagement photos, wedding #1, and wedding #2 (2020 covid bride here). I truly wouldn’t have known how to navigate the covid wedding process without her. Beyond that, though, she made my husband and I feel so comfortable in front of the camera, and our relationship, love, and personalities really shine through in her work. Keighla’s work is TIMELESS ART, that is not over-edited like other photographers I’ve seen. (She also photographed both of my husband’s siblings’ weddings as well… our family can’t get enough!)

We booked Trisha for our engagement and wedding photography and we couldn't be happier with the amazing photos she took. My husband and I are not fans of the camera and she made it so easy to be in front of the camera. She took in all of our requests between several first looks, lots of family photos, to having our bridal party pretend to run away from a dragon, with excitement! We are in awe of our photos and we are so happy to have these photos of our big day. 10 out of 10 will be using Trisha for any other photo needs!

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to read my review. If you are anything like me you are skeptical and do not know where to begin when looking for a photographer. I found Kyle and Tracy (RKH) on Zola and proceeded to check every website I could for reviews. As such I am leaving a review on every site I can find them. I scrolled through hundreds and could find one short of 5 stars. Trust me when I tell you stop right here ALL, and I mean EVERY SINGLE ONE I FOUND of the reviews were 5 stars and still FELL SHORT of how amazing and easy it was to work with them. If you don’t believe me yet I want to outline a few things about Kyle and Tracy. Our first time reaching out was via email and we received an almost immediate response which set us up with a phone call meeting. To be fair we set up 3 meetings with different photographers and Kyle and Tracy was our first call. Kyle is very experienced in shooting many different events including weddings. We enjoyed him thoroughly answering our questions and sharing experiences he has had. Outside of this he was genuinely interested in asking us about our story, where we met, how long we have been together etc. This was a tremendous surprise as we thought it would be straight business. When we hung up not only did, we already know they were the photographers we wanted to go with, it also felt like we made new friends. Over the next 5 months and several exchanges of emails and phone calls we were all set for our big day. If that wasn’t enough, they also took time aside to meet us in person as we were no longer local. On the wedding day! Kyle and Tracy showed up early and with plenty of energy. The teamwork we experienced on the phone was amplified in person and everything they prepared us for made the day that much more enjoyable. I want to skip over the experience of taking candid shots (their gallery speaks for itself) and talk about some of the special requests we made. Planning a wedding in Minnesota can be tricky with the weather so during planning we went over a few different scenarios. We started off wanting photos of the ceremony inside the church and a few outside of the reception venue, weather permitting we wanted a couple with a sunset. What we got were amazing photos of the ceremony, our wedding party, guests, large family photos, AND many many artistic shots. These include sunset and nighttime photos (Check out their gallery and Instagram). It wasn’t enough for them to take photographs for 9hours and go home. They made the experience so enjoyable for parents and bridal party members such that they went looking for Kyle and Tracy to say goodbye. Just before they left Tracy pulled me aside for just a moment to tell me to check my phone as she had already sent me a preview of 5 photos from the day. Seriously, when else do you get to leave your wedding with a preview in your pocket?!? What is a good review without covering the negative side? My only regret with hiring them is that even with all of the preparation and hard work they put in before the wedding is I didn’t bring enough to tip. We went around and asked a few people if they had cash so we could leave them as much as we could before they left. If you made it this far the next thing you should do is call them right away! Little Mac Design

Lakeville, MN
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $1,800

Is simple really. I want to capture real moments and create beautiful portraits for you. Portraits that you will enjoy looking at long after your wedding. I believe that wedding photography doesn't have to be boring. I don't want to just give you pictures. I want to create works of art that you will be proud to hang in your home. Building friendships & relationships are another goal of mine as well. If I have created a story documenting your day, we had some fun doing it, and your friends all say your wedding photographer was amazing then I accomplished my goal.

From the very first time that I worked with Nicole, we've developed a relationship that goes beyond simply being colleagues in the wedding industry. Nicole is personable, friendly, dedicated and she clearly LOVES what she does. I've had the opportunity to work alongside her at a few wedding receptions; she and I have also traded referrals for events as well. I am a BIG fan of her work; the turnaround is VERY fast, in my experience. I have been so impressed that I also became a client, hiring her to do a photo shoot of my children for a surprise birthday gift for my wife. In my humble opinion, you can't go wrong with Nicole and Little Mac Design.

Bonnie Drake Photography

5.0

Excelsior, MN
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $2,100

I've been passionate about documenting and creating since I was a little girl running wild in the suburbs of St. Paul. I would steal my parent's film camera and take dozens (okay maybe hundreds) of blurry photos of our dog. In high school, I spent babysitting money on a polaroid and then finally my beloved point and shoot, which was my favorite accessory for a night out! I was gifted my first DSLR in my early twenties, and that changed the way I looked at the role photography played in my life. What was always a beloved hobby became my passion, and I've never been happier.

Awarded Best of Zola
I have had the great joy and privilege to work with Bonnie for both my wedding ceremony and for professional website photos. She has a natural talent for putting people at ease and capturing moments of connection that are authentic and organic. She also has an eye for detail and gives great feedback without being judgmental. Every session we had together was both fun and productive. I highly recommend Bonnie to anyone who wants photos that capture the spirit of their relationships - to other humans, to animals, to nature, to work, to the spaces they inhabit, and more.

Brianna Kirk Photography | Super 8 Film, 35mm, Digital Photo & Video

5.0

Minneapolis, MN
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $5,000

Hey there, I'm Brianna! I am an film lovin', free-spirited, traveling photographer. I'm based out of Minnesota and available for wherever your love takes us. I'm all about documenting love stories in a creative, documentary style that captures all the real stuff—candid moments, quirky expressions of love, and genuine personalities. My style comes from a balanced blend of documentary and editorial influences.

Brianna is beyond anything we could have imagined from our wedding photographer! We were very picky when we set out to look for wedding photographers - we wanted our photos to feel authentic and genuine to our personalities and we wanted a photographer who matched our overall wedding vibes. Brianna far exceeded our (very high) expectations. Brianna perfectly captured the beauty of every moment of our day. Plus, the super 8 film is stunning! It is amazing the emotion that Brianna captures in her work. And, as if it couldn't get any better, we felt such a genuine connection to Brianna. She was incredibly affirming to both me and my partner. I simply cannot imagine a better experience than the one we got with Brianna. If you are looking for a photographer who is responsive to your requests, a true artist, and affirming of queer love then look no further because Brianna is a perfect fit! - Annie Olson

Bella Cattura Studios

5.0

Ham Lake, MN
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,500

We’re Dan and Alisha Amundsen, a husband and wife photography team from Ham Lake, MN. We met in 2007, and have been happily married since 2015. We enjoy traveling, home improvement projects, and parenting (most days!). We both have a background in digital media and photography, and started getting more serious about photography when we had our daughter in 2018. We got such great feedback about our photo work with our own daughter, and we wanted to help our friends and family capture memories and milestones. From there, Bella Cattura was born. In late 2019, we started shooting weddings, and found our ultimate passion in capturing love!

Awarded Best of Zola
I highly recommend Bella Cattura for wedding photos and video! We absolutely loved the way our photos turned out and the video was amazing! Dan and Alycia were so great to work with (even during a pandemic) and very laid back but also kept the photos moving and planned ahead to ensure things went smoothly. I would definitely recommend Bella Cattura!
