Sanctuary holds approximately 300 people, fellowship Hall holds 20 available 5' round tables with 6 to 8 people at each table. Our gorgeous venue includes two floors that are full of history that has been blended with modern design. This historic building started out in 1917 as a meat packing plant and has had many transformations. Since 2013 Arlington's has hosted events of every kind and we continue to grow in our excellence every year. Grace Lutheran Church was organized on February 2, 1888, with 18 charter members. It was notable for being the first “English” church, with services in English rather than Swedish, in the Augustana Synod. Connections to Augustana College were strong, and services were held at Augustana’s chapel in the early years of the church.

The mission of the Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts is to create an environment where all forms of artistic expression are appreciated, encouraged, and seen as a contribution to the quality of life in our community. Built-in 1921 as a home for the American Passion Play, the Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts (BCPA), then known as Bloomington's Scottish Rite Temple, boasted an elegant lobby fronted by a graceful five-arched façade, a ballroom that could seat 1,000 diners and a 1,320-seat theatre that featured the largest stage west of New York. In 2000, The City of Bloomington formed the Bloomington Cultural District to assume ownership of the Consistory and surrounding properties to shepherd it through a restoration.

The Mt. Zion Convention Center is a multipurpose meeting and convention facility located in the newly constructed Mt. Zion Village East building along State Highway 121. Modern in design and technology, the Convention Center will serve Mt. Zion and our surrounding community as a destination for local and regional events. It has a grand ballroom that can be divided into three smaller rooms as well as three other small meeting rooms. Construction on the Lake Springfield Postal Club began in the early 1940s. Post office employees donated over 50,000 hours on weekends, evenings and days off to complete the building. A team of horses and a sliding bucket were used to dig out the basement. The Postal Club officially opened in 1948. The total construction cost was approximately $15,000. In 2005, there were only two of the original Postal Club members left. In 2000 the Postal Club merged with the Springfield Firefighters Local 37. In 2001 the firefighters burned down the original Postal Club to make way for a new building. The new club was completed in 2002. The total construction cost was $3.6 million. The clubhouse is surrounded by 5 acres of woods, with boathouses, docks, beaches, parking lot, sidewalks, bandstand, and much more.
