I've been djing since I was 15 years old. I had a fascination for parties and events at an early age. I tagged along with my brother who dj'd at house parties back in the early 80's. I was hooked after seeing how much joy the music brought out in the crowd. I started buying my own 12" records, and it evolved into doing my own gigs: house parties, jr. high & high school dances, colleges, raves, underground parties, night clubs, weddings, corporate events, and so on. I started my DJ business in 1987, and have been honing my craft now for 3 decades. Thirty plus years later, I continue to love what I do. Now let's get the party started.

I used to only DJ weddings for friends, but eventually found my love for DJing was better fit at weddings with the wide demographic of people allowing for more creative ways to blend music and surprise people. Gary is the owner of About Music Pro. He is a Professional Musician, Band Leader, DJ / MC and Event Coordinator. He has over 22 years of experience performing at Weddings, Corporate Parties and Social Events in San Diego & Southern California. Also plays Piano, Guitar, Bass, Percussion, Ukulele, Vocalist Band leader, DJ / MC, Sound Engineer, Singer Song Writer, Composer and attended Berklee College of Music in Boston.

Weddings for me are the most rewarding events we play. I take very seriously the fact that the couple has entrusted us to be a part of the biggest day of their lives and there is nothing better than hearing the entertainment was the highlight of the reception.
