Welcome! I am a Kansas City Lifestyle, Portrait, and Wedding Photographer. Growing up I always had an eye for anything artistic and loved being able to share my vision of the world. I was first introduced to photography in my senior year of high school and immediately knew that is what I wanted my career to be. I continued the venture through college and graduated from UMKC with a degree in photography. A little about Noire Studios: Where does the name Noire Studios come from? I mixed my first name and last name (maiden) together - NO (from Noelle) and IRE (from Ireland). Creating a business from a few things that capture ME!

I'm Mollie, the owner & lead photographer at Paper Sun Photo. I’ve always loved photographing people, and after finishing my BFA in Photography I have worked with over 150 couples to beautifully document their wedding love stories. My style is creative and colorful, encompassing the big picture as well as the little details and joyful in-between moments that make weddings one of a kind. I am so grateful to be trusted with the responsibility of documenting my couples’ wedding days and absolutely committed to delivering photographs that capture the moment and will be treasured and adored.

The rawness of emotion & human connection is what drew me into wedding and portrait photography. I am a storyteller and celebrater for the lighthearted and crazy in love. I focus on capturing authentic photographs that stand the test of time. My goal is to provide couples with one heck of an experience and images that can be cherished for a generations. One of my favorite facts about my style is that I created my own preset from scratch, and that each photo receives the dedicated time it takes to ensure that its final version is its best. The result is beautiful, sentimental photos that preserve meaningful and true-to-life moments.

Weddings are my passion, it's not the decor, or the outfits, it's the pure LOVE between my couples. I am a wife, mother, teacher, and photo & video creator. I started taking my baby's pictures with a beginner's camera and fell in love. Now I'm a professional photographer and videographer, serving clients by listening to their needs, being flexible, skillful, and prepared. I'm proud to be an insured LLC with a storefront. I love capturing people in their very human moments. Images that really resonate with me are those which capture the essence of a person, a relationship, or just raw emotion. I have been a photographer since 2014 and an artist my entire life. My business began to blossom in Kansas City in 2018 after I got married. My true passion is helping brides and grooms capture their wedding beautifully. Getting married was the best moment of my life. With every wedding I work, I feel that spark for my passion to help you make your perfect wedding come alive! I am a dreamer and hard worker.

I grew up in a divided home, literally. Splitting time between my parents after their divorce, often being in the middle of their fighting, made me grow into a very empathetic person. It’s become the biggest strength I take with me into wedding days. My documentary style stems from my ability to sense when special moments are about to happen. I am able to sense emotions that aren’t necessarily visible, sense when to come close and when to be a fly-on-the-wall, and sense what/who is important to you therefore important to photograph.
