I got into DJing by accident. After learning that working as an Industrial Engineer in a fortune 500 company didn't bring me much fulfillment, a friend suggested I join his DJ company. His company supplied DJ services for over 200 weddings a year! After my first wedding gig I was hooked. It gave me purpose, and an outlet I never knew was possible. I started my DJ career in 1984 in Davenport Iowa, at that time I was using two turntables and had to haul big heavy crates of LPs with me. Now I use 2 specifically dedicated laptop computers that hold nearly 100,000 songs, wow isn't technology great!
