“Kelton from Marquee Artists was amazing! He was a communicative and active participant in the planning of the music and the announcements at my wedding on March 9. Kelton provided an extensive list of potential songs to play in a shared Google Document with columns for “play” and “do not play” which was great. Also, I was impressed that he attended the walk through of the Whittemore House a month prior to the wedding, asking pertinent questions of the Whittemore staff about the placement of various things and how best to provide the sound amplification that would be needed. He provided wireless mics which worked really well for the toasts. Kelton did a great job as the master of ceremony and his mix of the selected music was fun and fabulous. He had the crowd dancing, rocking to the music. Many of the older folks told me that they hadn’t danced in years but were having lots of fun doing so then. “We're writing this 4 days after our wedding, finally recovered from the absolute banger of a wedding that Alex DJ'ed. Our bodies are still sore from dancing all night and not sitting down. No one warned us how physically demanding it was to dance an entire night non-stop. We first met Alex when he was DJing our friends’, Addie & Loui’s, wedding in 2022. We were so impressed by how much thought and creativity went into his mixes and his ability to adapt the music based on the crowd's energy that night. The wedding planning process went very smoothly! During our calls, you could really tell how passionate Alex is about what he does. When we mentioned our favorite songs, he was so enthusiastic and immediately started working on mixes during the call. We loved the app he provided (Vibo), which allowed us to add songs and answer timeline questions for every aspect of our special day. On the wedding day, everything went smoothly and with no technical difficulties. He had enough equipment and staffing to handle the outdoor courtyard ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception (which all happened on separate floors). He played every song we asked for and was even able to fulfill a last minute request to surprise the bride with a flash mob that the groom organized. Our guests loved the PhotoBooth, which printed duplicates for our guest book. The booth attendants were very helpful providing instructions to fill out the guestbook. Alex is an incredibly talented artist, and you could tell that every detail of our dance party was expertly curated to make sure no one wanted to leave the dance floor. He poured his heart and soul into DJing that night, and every guest made sure to tell us how our night felt less like a reception and more like a set at a music festival. “We booked the Signed Sealed Delivered package and Brandon and Kellie exceeded expectations from planning to execution. While they came as a package deal, they each deserve their own review for their excellent work. Brandon from Signature DJs provided the best possible wedding DJ service. In planning the event, he was organized and thorough in working with us on the song list and order of events which he would be emceeing. Yet he took much of the burden off our shoulders by applying extensive experience and was flexible during the event in response to guests’ musical needs. The sound system quality was remarkable. He miked our ceremony, in which there were no sound issues, including the officiant, bride, groom, and a quartet in an expansive indoor space. The sound in the reception was also crisp and voluminous without preventing conversation – a difficult achievement. Complementary to the sound, Brandon provided “up lighting,” the maximum units of which we opted for. I recommend this choice because the lighting significantly supported the festive atmosphere to an extent I did not anticipate, though I trusted Brandon’s assertion that they would. Throughout the reception, Brandon monitored and responded to the energy of the dance floor to keep the party going all the way through the end of our time. He also provided a photo booth with an extensive set of props, which was a big hit with our guests, and which was of impressive, current technology. Finally, and this is the most memorable contribution, during the toasts to the bride and groom, Brandon interjected with a musical complement to a speech, which was perfectly humorous and elevating of the moment. Such an action could easily be detrimental, but Brandon’s judgement and awareness created a memory I will forever treasure. Concurrently, day-of coordinator Kellie was organized, knowledgeable, and delivers 100%. Here are some of the reasons why I highly recommend her. First, Kellie was super organized from the start. She set up a personal website for tracking to-do items and sent reminder emails to keep me on track with planning. She also helped me devise a precise wedding day timeline, reviewed my contracts with other vendors to confirm timing, and coordinated with them as a primary point of contact. She attended my final venue walkthrough and ceremony rehearsal to ensure everything was in order. Secondly, Kellie was very knowledgeable and had an answer for every question or issue. She identified issues I hadn’t considered and gave me advice and suggestions. She also had a great eye for detail and made sure everything looked perfect on the day. She texted me pictures of changes she made for my approval. She was always one step ahead of any problem and handled it before I noticed. Finally, Kellie delivered 100% on the day of the wedding. She showed up on time and immediately took over all setup and vendor instruction. She made sure everything ran smoothly and according to the timeline. She took care of the cleanup and packing at the end of the night. She moved my decoration pieces, cards, gifts, and photo guest book (already filled with the photobooth prints) to my hotel room and displayed them beautifully on a table. I was able to enjoy every moment of my wedding day without stress thanks to her. In summary, hiring Signature DJs Brandon and Kellie was the best decision I made for my wedding day. They went above and beyond what I expected. I cannot imagine better service.”

“I am not sure I can sing enough praises for The Hook Club (okay, I'll let them do the singing). Every single communication we had with Dan, Jesse, and the rest of the band was professional, funny, and enjoyable - and that's certainly not something you can say about everyone. We booked THC back in March 2020 before the shutdown and they were so flexible and kind as we went through various reschedulings of our wedding. They are so well-prepared and thoughtful, really considerate of what you want and what you and your spouse imagine your wedding to be, and very clear on what they need from you. As it got closer to our date, Dan and Jesse were super communicative and when we ran into some issues with COVID causing our guest numbers to dwindle, they were our own little hype team, telling us that they'd be sure we had a good time even with fewer guests. I'm not sure I ever told them how much it meant to me to have their reassurances during that time. I have known from the moment I got engaged that I wanted a live band at my wedding and truly, we could not have found a better one. My parents were skeptical of a large live band, but when my husband and I went to that first THC showcase, we knew from that moment that they were the band for us. We promised our family and friends a good time, and we followed through. Our guests were astonished, literally jaws dropping all over the place as the band got going. My parents' faces were incredible to behold and my sometimes-curmudgeonly dad was grinning from ear-to-ear all night and kept telling me for days after how great THC was. I got so many comments about the musicianship, the energy, and how incredibly fun they were. Multiple people told me it felt like we were at a concert - which it totally did! They got everyone engaged in the dancing, playing music that guests of all ages could enjoy, and engaged with everyone down on the dance floor and really made it feel like a million people were there, which was important to me. I could really ramble on forever at how incredible they were, but I'll just sum it up to say that they were the life of the party and I am so thankful. I'll also add that we had a solo guitar for the ceremony and solo piano for the cocktail hour and that was just absolutely perfect. Each individual member of the band is extraordinarily talented, so whatever combination of musicians you go with will be incredible. I cannot recommend The Hook Club enough - I wish I could give ten stars. Every moment of working with them was a pleasure and I feel so lucky. Thank you a million times over!”
