I grew up in Southern California in a family of 4 children. There was not a single important moment in our childhood that was not captured on camera or video. At the time, it seemed like a nuisance, but now I am so grateful that my father saw how precious all of those moments were. Looking back at those videos, hearing our laughter, and looking at our smiles is priceless to me. I know this is where my deep passion for creating keepsake moments on film began.

Marlon has always had a passion for all areas of cinematography and photography, having worked as both and web designer for 12 years and of course, more recently videography in 2018, Marlon kick-started his company, Special Capture, as a first shooter aiming towards his goal of aiding couples in forever capturing and conserving their spectacular memories and moments from their extraordinary day. And of course, this is done by capturing not only the big picture but also all the minuscule (but important) details that aided in creating that magical day.

I started my videography and photography business in 2014 while earning my bachelors degree in Digital Media Production and Film Studies at Florida State University. I started Crash Media as a way to do what I love- by making magic behind a lens become a reality on the screen.
