I was inspired to become a photographer when I was young, before the days of digital cameras and cell phones. My eye for photography was first developed along side film, and this fascination set me off to see what I could do with light and lenses. The images you see today are the results of my long, passionate love affair with the camera, developed by life's most precious resource: time.

Hi, I'm Candace and I have a thing for weddings! I didn't start as a wedding photographer, I actually started as a BIRTH photographer surprisingly! I was addicted to capturing real and raw moments for families to have and relive over and over. I actually was nervous for weddings, which is why I didn't start doing them. One thing led to another and as people started asking me if I WOULD shoot their wedding, I decided to give it a try. Fast-forward to dozens and dozens of weddings later and I am obsessed!! I am a full fledged wedding photographer and I LOVE capturing every single moment of your day. The addiction is real!!

I am a wedding and elopement photographer based out of Northern Colorado and Western Washington. In my free time I hike, eat lots of food and play with cat & dog. I find photography to be an amazing creative outlet and love using it as a way to connect with some amazing people.

The first time I picked up a camera was when I was about 12 years old, on a summer afternoon at my Nana's house. We spent the day digging through boxes filled with old family photographs. My Nana told me stories of her childhood and I got to relive those cherished moments with her. She explained to me that photos have a way of connecting us to our past and defining who we are and where we came from. She then gave me her old 35mm camera. That was the moment that ignited my love of photography and a desire to create timeless images. I love preserving moments that will last longer that our days on earth and be treasured by future loved ones.
