I started in photography much as everyone else did. What was once a hobby in 2002 quickly became a passion. I started out with a 35mm film set up and would hang out in the city capturing candid moments of people going about their day to day lives. For me, it was like stepping outside the world around me and documenting it like looking through a window into a world I was no longer part of. In 2008, when I myself got married, I realized that a wedding day is one of the most emotional moments for a couple. Not only for them but for the families involved as well! It was Oct. 31st, 2008 when I shot my first wedding. I haven't looked back since.

Why, hello there. I'm the creative behind the lens. I am a Canadian who pursued his true love, got married and found himself in the United States. It turns out, it can take some time to receive permanent residency, which led me to pick up a camera and fall in love with the art.

As a child all, I can remember was carrying around one of those Fujifilm cameras and taking photos of family and friends. I always really liked taking photos and having those memories to look back on. Fast forward to 2017, I decided to take my hobby of photography seriously. I learned the ins and outs of photography, learned how to run a successful business, and learned the proper camera settings all on my own. Here I am years later running my business full time and I love what I do. I live and breathe photography. I know this is what I am meant to be doing.

I did not not grow up with a camera in my hand knowing I wanted to be a photographer. Ever since I was a child, I've been passionate about arts and culture. Wedding photography fulfills my passion in various ways more than I would have ever imagined. I studied photography at U-Arts and PCAD, and have been photographing weddings for over 10 years, throughout which I've been developing my style of photo-journalism. I am where I am today because of dance. I used to be a part of competitive dance team before I fell in love with visual storytelling. After a while of being in front of the lens for photo shoots and dance videos, I ended wanting to switch sides and start documenting my life and those around me. I still get happy feet when I hear the right song, so you best believe I’ll be dancing with you on the dance floor. If can already guess, dancing at the reception is favorite part at any wedding.

I moved to Buffalo, NY about 6 years ago. Why Buffalo? Because my wife grew up here. I was born and raised in Münster, Germany and lived most recently in Vienna, Austria. I worked as a journalist for financial newspapers, websites and magazines. I wrote mainly about tech companies such as Apple, Facebook, Google among other things. As part of my job I was exposed to photography and filmmaking and discovered a passion. It didn’t take long for family and friends to ask me to photograph their weddings. I realized how much fun it was to be part of such an emotional day which you remember for a lifetime.
