Coley Hall at The Liberty began as a run-down century old Tobacco Warehouse. After being purchased by Elkin native Cicely McCulloch, the space was transformed into a beautiful wedding venue. However, one cannot help but notice the space’s rich history. With an industrial feel, century-old exposed beams overhead, weathered wood, and distressed brick, it’s the definition of rustic elegance and can be tailor-made to fit any style. Uptown Indigo is a family owned and operated venue with two floors and a breathtaking rooftop terrace. The design is "chic industrial" with lots of artistic details. From the original tin ceilings to the handmade tiles, Uptown Indigo is a truly unique wedding venue. The venue can accommodate up to 220 seated guests, with the largest space being the 6,000 square foot Indigo Ballroom. This ballroom is characterized by its modern light fixtures combined with original historic elements. It is fully accessible with a vintage elevator and large, elegant bathrooms. The Steeples Event Space is on the top floor, complete with a prohibition-era, rustic space for cocktail hours or smaller ceremonies. The detailed tile ceilings along with the warm lighting give the space a romantic, yet fun feel. Big R Orchards - Wedding and Event Venue is located on top of Brushy Mountain in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains near Wilkesboro, NC. Enjoy the beauty and romance of 150 acres of family owned & working apple & peach orchards with a 6 acre lake and golf green peninsula with amazing mountain views. The pavilion was uniquely designed and hand-crafted by friends & neighbors. The elegant bridal suite is spacious with over 1000 sf of space, private bathroom, & hair and makeup stations. There is a full commercial caterer's kitchen, public bathrooms, and grooms suite. The open but covered grand hall is 6000 sf with 2 huge chandeliers, Edison string lights, post lights, and a huge rock fireplace. There are also motorized curtains on the west side that can be closed or opened with a touch of a button.
