I'm based in Massachusetts, but I photograph people all over New England, Italy + destinations! I value experiences over things and I'm always ready to go on an adventure. Elín started enjoying photography at a very young age. Her father, a forensic photographer, saw her talent early on and began teaching her photography. As a young woman Elín moved to Norway and continued her education until the calling of her work pulled her further on. She has spent most of her life outside her beloved Iceland, in Norway, Spain, Singapore, Thailand, Japan and finally United States of America. Living, studying and working in these different cultures has affected her artistic approach to the profession of photography.

The first time I photographed a wedding was intensely nerve-wracking, but as the day wore on it really started to click and I fell in love with getting to be such an important part of the celebration. Those nerves haven't gone away but my passion has certainly grown and I'd love to share it with you as a part of your wedding team.

I am a curly-haired hugger who has always dreamed of my wedding day, so it was a no brainer after shooting my cousin's wedding in 2004 that this is what I was meant to do. I can be found running along the streets of our small town in Hingham, building a beach bonfire on the Cape or simply lounging around with my husband Chris, our daughter Melanie and our husky Stowe - watching our latest show obsession. If I'm lucky I get to do the thing I love most - photographing the beginning of my sweet couples’ story!

I'm Jessica. A mother, partner, friend, do-er of all the things, lover of all the animals, and passionate about memories. ​ There's a lot to my story, but the truth is that I was blessed enough one day to be gifted a camera by my late mother.
