We have 110 acres of rolling hills and the Red River wraps around our property. Our guest describe our place as rustic elegance in a quiet location that you will want to come back and visit over and over again.

Burdoc Farms has been owned and operated by the Shepherd family since 1942. With over 650 acres of open fields there are 2 different venues on the property for weddings. In 2012, the Shepherds hosted a wedding on the family farm. All the guests talked about was how beautiful the farm was and how they should be doing weddings full time. The Shepherd family converted the tobacco-cattle barn into a reception barn with all the amenities; bathrooms, kitchen, and electricity. The Shepherd family painstakingly rehabbed and recycled all of the materials in both barns to enhance and preserve the authenticity of the buildings. After converting the Tobacco Barn, they booked 24 weddings and then the next year they booked 38 weddings. In 2016, they decided to expand the business and build a year-round building, Keith Glen, in another location of the farm. Burdoc Farms hosts 60 to 80 weddings a year with couples coming from all over the country and a few from overseas!

Valley Mist has been a family owned farm since 1971. We built the reception barn and gazebo in 2015 for our daughter and son-in-law's wedding. Our venue offers that classic country feel that allows you to choose if you want to go more elegant or more relaxed.

Lynn, my love since I was 13 years old, and I started thinking about building a venue on the family ground back in 2016. He started clearing out trees and our vision began. After a lot of life altering events, I decided to continue what we started. With the help of close friends and family, we completed Lynn’s Landing in late 2019. We still have lots of garden dreams to complete, and I know we will always add and change as time goes on. As a photographer, I’m always looking for beautiful gardens to take portraits in. Now I have my own. I will expand and fill over several acres in time. Firefly Lane is located on our 85+ acre family farm with two available venues. The Barn is 4000 square foot of climate controlled space and offers two ceremony locations, the Enchanted Forest or the Garden. The Chapel is an open air Chapel for your ceremony and a open air building beside it for your reception. Each venue has it's own private entrance on the property.
