Hello! My name is Alec and I run Small Batch Films! With a Master's Degree in Business Administration, I never thought I would find my love in wedding videography. I initially picked up a camera as a hobby, and then friends started asking me to do photography for them. Pretty soon I was doing photography for my friend's weddings, and I was hooked. It was such an exhilarating feeling to capture such an important day in the lives of two people in love! But where I really found my love was with the video camera.

Cinematography has given me the creative outlet to tell stories that I always wanted growing up and my couples have given me amazing stories to tell.  I've been a videographer for 7 years now, and I absolutely love it. I have a passion for telling stories through my work, and I truly believe that every moment captured on camera is an opportunity to create something special. One of my favorite things to do is incorporate dramatic lighting into my imagery, whether I'm filming a wedding or taking couples' photos. I also love to travel and take photos of landscapes and other beautiful places. Whenever I go somewhere new, I always bring my camera along so I can capture every little moment. When I'm not working or traveling, I like to read and spend time with my best friend and our dog, Scout.
