My name is Mariah and I love flowers. There, I said it. This dream began just a few short years ago when I was planning my own wedding, as a bride on a budget. I created the florals for my wedding without much real experience and discovered a genuine enjoyment of the design process. Since then, I’ve participated in real wedding workshops led by industry leaders to hone and polish my skills as well as connected with local suppliers to ensure I can provide you the best product for your event.

It started with a dream. For years I've had this vision of my family's dream home. On the property, there would be space for me to have a small cottage-like flower studio and make space. Outside would be an abundant garden with many paths one could walk and a few secret seating places. I imagined customers and wedding clients could come to visit my studio and gardens, dreaming up what their wedding or elopement flowers would look like while surrounded by the beauty of flowers.

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. As a young child, like many children, I picked dandelion and other "weed" bouquets for my mom. Making wishes and blowing the dandelion seeds was also a favorite pastime. I drew flowers all over everything, and since I was a kid with little talent in drawing, I became quite proud of my flowers.
