The Lost Oak Event Center boasts a large open event space with high ceilings and stained concrete floors, large bay windows overlooking vineyard and pond views, a cocktail room, bride and groom suites, and comfortably accommodates up to 200 guests with dance floor.

We had always wanted to move an old country church and renovate it into a living space. We found that historic churches do not come up for sale often and probably not acceptable to walk up and say “we want to buy your church”. Rob decided to design our own church and drew the plans for what was to become our first lodging venue called “The White House on the Hill”. We both believe that by following your heart, dreams can become your reality. Following the success of The White House on the Hill and receiving requests for additional space we constructed the newest venue, The Barn at The White House on the Hill. It is a 2800 sq ft lodging/event venue with an enchanting design of the french country fused with the grandeur and romance of old historic barns and the modern conveniences of today. We specialize in creating unforgettable experiences for you and your guests.

Then, sneak away for a private toast and dreamy photo ops in the "secret" Wishing Well garden. A unique outdoor bar among the vines, built into the stone wall of the vineyard, is a favorite spot for cocktail hour, or transformed into an icecream or coffee bar. Inside, draping & twinkle lights add a romantic ambiance to the reception room, with an attached covered patio serving as an al fresco dance floor. The secret garden is another magical space for photo ops Your rental includes the use of Magnolia Terrace’s fully-restored vintage home, where you’ll find 2 dressing rooms with private restrooms, a large prep kitchen, indoor bar/buffet area & extra guest bathrooms. Enjoy the rolling hills and beautiful countryside at the oldest winery in Henderson County Texas. Couples have a choice of the Winery, Vineyard, and/or the Murchison Mansion available as their venue.
