Appalachian View

5.0

Newland, NC
  • Up to 200 guests
  • Limited services
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $4,500

Appalachian View provides stunning eastern and western views of the Blue Ridge Mountains from the south side of Sugar Mountain. As natives to North Carolina and these mountains, Cathy and Dale Buchanan have enjoyed this area for years - a cabin, time with family and friends, hiking the Appalachian Trail... Here we have hosted weddings for special people in our lives. Consequently, we decided to build on these 75 acres a venue to be able to share this beautiful location with others. We think this is the quintessential place to start your lives together, and are very excited to be able host your wedding ceremony and precious memories.

Appalachian View strives for greatness - and achieves it. They’ve got so many thoughtful small touches that show their heart for their clients - from the complimentary clear umbrellas you can use if it rains to the sanitizing stations (important during a pandemic) to the mini fridges in the getting ready spaces. The on site staff on the day of the wedding is ready to help in any way they can to make the day perfect for the couple. 10/10 experience.

Coley Hall at The Liberty

5.0

Elkin, NC
  • Up to 500 guests
  • Limited services
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $2,500

Coley Hall at The Liberty began as a run-down century old Tobacco Warehouse. After being purchased by Elkin native Cicely McCulloch, the space was transformed into a beautiful wedding venue. However, one cannot help but notice the space’s rich history. With an industrial feel, century-old exposed beams overhead, weathered wood, and distressed brick, it’s the definition of rustic elegance and can be tailor-made to fit any style. Keep things simple by utilizing the existing beauty of the space, or dress it up with elegant sheer fabrics draped overhead. Even if you are not DIY savvy, our staff is here to provide inspiration to ensure your vision comes to life!

My husband and I were faced with planning a wedding during COVID-19. How lucky we were to have chosen Coley Hall as our venue. Suzanne and Cicely were both so helpful throughout the whole process. We talked often as regulations changed and they were always flexible, accommodating, and understanding. They made sure that we had the most special wedding day regardless of a global pandemic. The food was awesome, service pristine, and facilities beautiful! We feel so lucky to have gotten married at Coley Hall and were proud to show off our wedding venue to friends & family!

Uptown Indigo

5.0

Shelby, NC
  • Up to 220 guests
  • Limited services
  • Indoor
  • Starts at $4,300

Uptown Indigo is a family owned and operated venue with two floors and a breathtaking rooftop terrace. The design is "chic industrial" with lots of artistic details. From the original tin ceilings to the handmade tiles, Uptown Indigo is a truly unique wedding venue. The venue can accommodate up to 220 seated guests, with the largest space being the 6,000 square foot Indigo Ballroom. This ballroom is characterized by its modern light fixtures combined with original historic elements. It is fully accessible with a vintage elevator and large, elegant bathrooms. The Steeples Event Space is on the top floor, complete with a prohibition-era, rustic space for cocktail hours or smaller ceremonies. The detailed tile ceilings along with the warm lighting give the space a romantic, yet fun feel. Lastly, the Rooftop Terrace offers 800 square feet with a view of Shelby and the mountains in the distance. Submit inquiries directly through our website at https://www.uptownindigo.com.

Our wedding at Uptown Indigo was perfect from start to finish. The facility is so much bigger than these photos suggest. My husband and I both feel that the level of service and attention to detail made the value of Uptown Indigo second to none. When we first went in for a tour, Duncan made us cocktails and spent more time with us than any other tour we had. The staff actually cared about us and we didn't just feel like a number. My favorite part was the bridal suite in the morning. They turned the whole top floor into the bridal suite and it felt like a movie when the elevator doors opened and we walked out and placed our dresses on the coat hanger. There was music playing, and mimosas set out. My mom started crying and then I started crying and I knew then that the day would be perfect. I highly recommend the Uptown Indigo venue/family and we am so thankful that we trusted our wedding day to them.

There’s no question this venue is incredibly beautiful but what comes with it really sealed the deal. The team leading up to the event were kind, efficient, and communicative. The space was beautifully clean and ready for us and the accommodations on the property were top notch. It made the whole day really special to have the whole family wake up and get prepared together. It really is worth every penny and is one of the most special places in the mountains. It rained on our wedding day and they did the most to wipe down chairs right before the ceremony and keep things moving. Absolutely 10/10!

I have worked with Camelot Meadows both as a mobile bar service and Coordinator. Their venue is beautiful with many unique aspects to it that other venues do not have to offer. Every room is fantastic, even the catering kitchen. I have worked with many venues and they have been one of the best I have worked with and continue to work with as we are consistently booked there through the upcoming years. I recommend them to all of our clients still looking for a venue or one that would like to work with us but need to know what venues we work with. We planned our Greenville, SC wedding from Los Angeles (our home). We knew we wanted to work with Revel because we both used to go to shows here when it was the Handlebar. Brittiany and her team were a joy to work with. If you're looking to plan your own wedding - as we did - their day of coordinator was fabulous! The space was stunning and we really enjoyed transforming it to fit our vision. There's plenty of space for a dinner, dancefloor and it's perfectly set up for a live band. Highly recommend booking your wedding or next big event with Revel.

Separk Mansion

5.0

Gastonia, NC
  • Up to 250 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor & outdoor

Separk Mansion is a wedding venue located in Gastonia, North Carolina that is just 20 minutes from Charlotte. This renovated mansion is designed with beautiful weddings in mind and will give you an elegant backdrop that will create a celebration that is full of everlasting memories. Separk Mansion is ideal for both indoor and outdoor weddings. The first floor ballroom retains old vintage hardwood floors and has a ceiling that shimmers with crystal chandeliers. At the front there is a large staircase as well as large front doors that lead to an expansive limestone veranda that can be used for a cocktail hour. This impressive estate was built in 1919 by textile mogul Joseph Separk. He lived in the mansion with his wife and son during the 1920s. In 2012 it underwent complete renovation and is currently one of the most popular locations for ceremonies and receptions. The mansion is part of the York Chester Historic District and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Separk is one of my top five favorite venues in the Charlotte Area, the on site coordinator Caylea understands the industry and is very flexible for installation times. They reach out before the wedding with detailed floor plan and time line (unless the bride has an outside planner). And the mansion itself is just gorgeous, as a florist I never get tired of finding new ways to create there.

The Weaver House prides itself on being a leader in sustainable practices among Western North Carolina event spaces and businesses. Let us bring your vision to life.

We got engaged in July 2023. With a Fall wedding date set in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains, my then fiance and I knew we'd need to start lookin' and bookin' ASAP due to the very popular tourist leaf season. After numerous venue tours in and around the WNC area, we chose Weaver House for a multitude of reasons: 1) PRICE - this venue was half the cost of several other WNC venues of similar size and style 2) LOCATION - Weaver House is smack-dab in the middle of the quaint, yet sublime, Weaverville and you wouldn't even know it 3) SIZE - we had originally estimated to have about 100 guests (ended up with just shy of 50 - yay!) and Weaver House was not too big, not too small, but absolutely just right and 4) STAFF - Alexandra (Event Coordinator) and Joey (Head Chef) are some of the most amazing, kind, laidback, and down-to-earth people we have met, in addition to all of the bar and wait staff - all great things to have around you on your wedding day and leading up to it! We absolutely would not have traded this venue and our experience with them for anything else, even if we had Biltmore money!! Much much love to Weaver House and all involved 3
