Shane and I gave up our lives in the big city of Houston, both quit our jobs to pursue a life that was more in alignment with where our hearts are. Kara spent 20 years in Real Estate and Shane spent 30 years in Petro Chemical industry. They sold their house in Texas, bought a Poultry farm in Mississippi and now the Homestead Event Venue. They currently enjoy their animals, providing poultry/food for their community and serving in whatever way they can. When you book your event at Beau Chêne, you and your guests will enjoy ample parking, the gracious ambience of our spacious newly remodeled clubhouse and the incredible views of the surrounding green space, lakes and golf courses

Situated in the heart of Olde Towne Slidell, LA, The Venue hosts weddings and other special occasions. Characterized by a chic and minimalist design, this modern event facility is a blank canvas that can be tailored to your unique tastes and preferences. The Venue consists of a cavernous warehouse-style banquet hall, which features white walls and large windows that bathe the floors in natural light. Packages come with tables, black cross back chairs, white linens, and optional décor for your table centerpieces. In addition, the staff will help with setup and breakdown. They also offer an event coordinator, who will be on-hand to make sure that everything runs smoothly. Catering can be included in a partnership with a local vendor, or you are more than welcome to contract your own caterer.

The Bottling Company resides in the Historic District of Downtown Hattiesburg, MS.  It has been newly renovated and updated to reflect a chic yet elegant industrial feel in an exquisitely polished neutral palette.  Our 12,780 sq. ft. site is able to accommodate over 500 guests. Features include two suites for bridal party dressing areas before the wedding. The Grand Staircase is the perfect view for every bride to make her ceremony entrance or for the couple to be introduced into their reception. The upstairs balcony offers a birds-eye view of the dance floor and activity below.  Our beautiful, original copper bar is the centerpiece of the downstairs, boasting a hand painted glass window from 1915. The Bottling Company provides event management teams dedicated to making your wedding dream a reality by working with you to create a customized wedding package for your special day.
