Updike Farmstead has has become a destination-style venue within Princeton for those looking to create the wedding of their dreams. Our exclusive caterers provide day-of coordination for your wedding. This includes ordering the rentals that will capture your unique vision; be it farm tables, boho dinnerware sets, bistro lighting, or vintage lounge furniture. They also set up the barn to your specifications and break down the rentals at the end of the evening. Available late April through early November.

Venue includes theme generation and decor planning from our team of artists/designers, 24 hr. access (from 5AM until 5 the next morning!), bridal and groom suites, ceremony, cocktail and reception spaces! We provide the spaces, tables, chairs, lighting, and decorating with custom-made props, decor and candles from our showroom. Terrain at Styer's, is located on the historic site of J. Franklin Styer's nursery, a Philadelphia landmark for over 100 years. With over five acres of everchanging blooms and greenery combined with a variety of historic spaces, the property serves as a stunning setting for celebrations of all kinds for up to 110 people. In addition to our bespoke event spaces, Terrain at Styer’s boasts a terrain retail store and Terrain Cafe. Terrain at Styer's is located just 40 minutes outside of Philadelphia at 914 Baltimore Pike Glen Mills, PA 19342.

Constructed in 1932, this vintage barn oversees 12+ acres of native grasslands – a rich habitat for wildflowers, birds and butterflies – and a historic farmhouse built in the 1750s by a second-generation Quaker farmer. The property is also home to Pinelands Preservation Alliance, whose mission is to protect the natural resources, history and culture of this unique region. In 2017, the Alliance transformed the barn into a great gathering place. The recently completed renovation brings contemporary comfort and energy efficiency to a setting that still retains its authentic character. For weddings and private celebrations, the “big red barn” opens onto beautiful outdoor spaces for garden ceremonies and cocktails, while the interior is scaled for dinner and dancing for as many as 175 guests.
