Oh hey, I’m Joe. I am a photographer, artist, and educator. I love museums, ceramic art, and plants. I live and work in the greater Philadelphia area, but I am always looking for new and bigger adventures! I pride myself on not only my attention to detail but my passion and experience in studying art history to consistently compose compelling, narrative, and engaging photographs.

Time and time again I am matched with clients (often turned friends) that inspire me in such a way I feel my work is elevated to new heights. I am constantly reminded of the nuance and beauty of our human experience by your kind invitation to photograph your wedding days and celebrations. I really try to make a point of being perceptive and imaginative so I can let your spirit shine. It’s hard for me to approach this work by a template therefore you won’t really see that from me. My humble wish is to capture history for you and facilitate your presence in your celebration with unbridled joy. It’s a tender thing, this work and my honor.

If I had to describe myself in one word it would be eccentric. I do what I want, wear what I want and detest anything that feels fake or forced. Capturing raw candids is the goal behind every image. Ximena was born in October 26th 1982, in Mexico City. Eventhough she started her professional life as a lawyer , she never abandonded her sensitive view of the world around her, neither her need to express it through art. This very instinct made her plunge into the wonderful world of photography. She invaded her life with pictures, that filled her soul , letting her capture, express and create moments, so that they would remain caught in history. She studied photography in AAVI, in addition to many other degrees,but her true quality was gained by experience.
