“The Hook Club is the absolute best decision you can make when hiring music for your wedding or event! My husband and I are musicians ourselves and the bar was set high for the music at our wedding, we knew we had to impress! We didn't want the typical wedding band, we knew The Hook Club would stand out above the rest and we couldn't have been more right! We hired "THC" back in 2019 when we were engaged and sadly the pandemic had changed our plans. Even in February, 2021, our wedding was still restricted. We did get married but had to cancel our party. We postponed to 2022 but then found out we were pregnant with our son. We weren't sure after having our baby if a party was still in the cards for us but truly, the one thing we were holding onto was being able to dance with all our family and friends with The Hook Club! We decided to finally go through with our postponed reception TWO years later in February, 2023 and we couldn't be happier that we did. “My friend hired and coordinated with Luis from lionizing entertainment as a DJ for our engagement party in July. It was our first time meeting him at the party and from the beginning he was professional and personable. He made sure we had the type of music we wanted and kept people dancing. We were so happy with his services so we decided to hire him to DJ our wedding this past weekend as well. We originally had a summer wedding planned and decided to move it up sooner. Luis was so flexible and understanding when we reached out about the date change and we were still able to work with him for our new date. Throughout the planning process Luis was super responsive whenever we needed anything and he would check in to make sure we didn’t have any questions and he was more than prepared for our big day. “We met Denise when she DJ'd a friend's wedding and it was the most fun reception I'd ever attended. I knew she HAD to be my DJ if ever I got married! From day 1 of meeting with her for our wedding, it was clear that her goal was to give us the best party of our lives, whatever that looked like to us. She had great advice throughout the entire process and took time to get to know us and what style/vibe we wanted for our reception. Communication is key, and she had the logistics of the reception planned down to the minute. The music portal is very user friendly and it was really fun to think through our music. If you need song advice, she's your gal. She will strictly adhere to your do NOT play list. She gets the guests engaged and is truly a party starter (if that's what you want).
