For as long as I can remember, I always had a camera of some kind. I used to have a point and shoot film camera that had interchangeable plates on the front that showcased different colors. I took that camera with me everywhere! At 13 and in 8th grade, I made a decision to take an elective my other friends weren't taking. I wanted to do something different, so I decided to take photography. It was a film photography class, as Digital was still too expensive to be taught in schools at the time. By 18, I had bought my first DSLR (a Canon Rebel xsi), and by 19 I moved to Austin, Texas to pursue my dreams. Let's tell your story....together.

I've had a camera in my hand since I was a kid. My mom was a wedding photographer also. I spend my days taking photos because it inspires me and fills me with joy. I'm a full-time wedding photographer based in Austin, Texas. Born and raised in our nation's capital, I will always declare I am a Washingtonian. My love for photography started in high school but didn't truly blossom until my junior year at UT when I enrolled in a photojournalism class and signed up to be a staff photographer for the Daily Texan. I spent three years of my early 20s in the Texan basement and darkrooms at UT. I loved it. Weddings give my soul what journalism used to - the love of storytelling.
