Mariachi Hidalgo was founded in 2017 and is led by our Musical Director Hernan Hidalgo Treviño who is a first-generation musician within his family. At the age of 21, Hernan is New York City’s, as well as the East Coast’s, 1st ever “Youngest Musical Director of a Mariachi Band”. Hernan graduated from the CUNY of Hunter College as a Music and History major to better prepare himself for both the musical and culture of mariachi. Within the first 2 years, Mariachi Hidalgo has performed in some of New York's exclusive places. Hernan's main goal is to inspire and motivate other youths to continue this musical tradition of mariachi.

I love playing for weddings, and working with couples to customize the soundtrack for their ceremony! I have played for over 800 weddings, for guest lists from 3 to 2000, and across four continents. Specializing in music you don't expect to hear on the harp, couples can choose jazz, popular, Bollywood, Arabic, Broadway, and classical music for their weddings.

Clarity Music Productions is born of a vision. After playing at weddings and private events for nearly 20 years, Brad saw how communication has changed, and how the event music business failed to change with them. Schaffer Sound Disc Jockeys is a family owned and operated business. Our founder, Ken Schaffer, started the company in 1977 at the ripe old age of fourteen! He started providing DJ entertainment for grade schools and parties and as he grew older demand for his company’s services soared. Soon, those same students he was playing for in school gymnasiums and cafeterias were getting married and many hired his company to perform at their weddings.
