Drumore Mill

5.0

Drumore, PA
  • Up to 125 guests
  • Limited services
  • Outdoor
  • Starts at $4,700

Drumore Mill is a different world. It is nestled in a corner of the most rustic township in Amish Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The mill was built in 1752 as a sawmill and a grist mill. It sits in a hollow with 30 acres of tall cliffs and old trees to provide privacy, warmth, and natural beauties. There is a pristine creek that meanders through the property. The Fishing Creek supports native trout and other rare small fishes. The waterfall is adjacent to the buildings. There is a hiking trail within the property. There is wetland and much more. The combination of rustic setting, natural beauties, and historical features makes Drumore Mill amazingly beautiful. One has to see it to believe it.

Drumore Mill was our DREAM wedding venue! We were looking for a rustic, nature-rich wedding venue that had an outdoor feel but still was covered in case of rain, and also had the option for us to bring in our own caterer, stay on-site with our bridal party and immediate family, and enjoy the property for the full weekend, and Drumore Mill checked all the boxes! Thuy was great to work with & super accommodating when we wanted to do our engagement photos on the property and come back and visit to take more pictures and measurements before the wedding...I couldn't stop visiting because its so beautiful. We got an overwhelming number of compliments from our guests on the venue and how beautiful and unique the space was for a wedding. Everything went incredibly well for the weekend and we were so happy with how everything turned out. We would definitely recommend Drumore Mill if you're looking for a unique wedding venue in the Lancaster area. And we will be coming back to stay on the property in the years to come!

Plus, we are just minutes from local shopping and Downtown Philadelphia.

We had the most beautiful wedding day at SCC. We can’t thank the staff at Springfield enough for the amazing service, assistance with wedding planning, and excellent day of coordination! We were married on a snowy Friday in January and they were super helpful with golf cart transportation across the property to get me where I needed to go from the hotel getting ready room to the ceremony room. Scott was an outstanding maitre de the night of rehearsal and the day/night of the wedding and Nancy was wonderful and so easy to work with from initial emails to dinner tasting to countless phone calls (on my end) to the wedding day and everything in between! Bartenders and servers were extremely friend both during the rehearsal dinner and the wedding day! Beautiful martini bar add on was a HUGE hit! So happy and thrilled we chose Springfield! We would chose them all over again if we could!

A historic property with timeless beauty, Sylvan Ridge Farm is nestled into a wooded mountainside overlooking the Delaware River Valley. If you are looking for that rustic barn feel with the modern-day touch - this is the place you want to have your wedding. We cannot recommend Sylvan Ridge Farms enough! Alec and Linnea Geno were absolutely wonderful from start to finish. My wife and I were looking for venues in NY during 2020 (yes, during COVID craziness) and we weren't able to find anything that was open and accommodating, until we expanded our horizon and searched out of state. The first link we clicked on was SRF and we could not be happier that we did. Linnea is very sweet and when we first met up to talk, it was almost as if we had been friends for years. She gave us a tour, explained all our options, and gave us the history behind SRF. After meeting with her just one time and seeing the brand new remodeled barn, the stunning farmhouse, and the romantic cottage, we knew this is the place we were going to have our wedding. The venue consists of a newly constructed barn that has a beautiful wood finish upstairs (which can seat 150 comfortably with room for a dance floor), a stone/ wood finish downstairs (which is great for cocktail hour), and a luscious green yard right outside, overlooking a forested valley, for your ceremony to have the most flawless backdrop. The farmhouse is huge with multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, a spacious living room, and beautiful kitchen where family and relatives can easily stay if need be. They also have the cutest cottage that the couple can stay in the night of their wedding. (I had 5 groomsmen sleep in the cottage the night before my wedding and we all slept comfortably, and my wife had her bridesmaids sleep in the farmhouse the night before which fit 11 comfortably - it worked out perfectly.) They also have a pool, hot tub, and a bonfire all on site. We were able to set up the day before our wedding, stay in the farmhouse the night before, have the ceremony and reception the day of, AND stay our first night in the cottage all on the same property! The convenience of not having to worry about driving anywhere or moving any equipment was very much appreciated; I have been in quite a few weddings and nothing beats having everything take place on the same property. One more neat tidbit - the dance floor was located right next to the barn doors which was awesome because people could dance or step right outside if they felt it was too crowded or the music was too loud, but were still a part of everything and didn’t miss a beat. We couldn’t be happier with the layout. I feel like I can go on and on. All our guests spoke about how amazing the venue was and asked us how we even found it. We were so blessed that we came across Sylvan Ridge Farms. We highly recommend this venue for the most perfect wedding day!

The Manor at Mountain View

5.0

Harrisburg, PA
  • Up to 325 guests
  • Limited services
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $3,400

The Manor at Mountain View was the perfect find for the owners. The rustic feel with modern-day conveniences was a must. But, what was also a must was to have a venue that the word beautiful could not even describe it but, yet to keep it affordable so that so many people could come and enjoy this spectacular piece of property. The Tavern (Groom's Tavern) has its original barn beams as this was at one time a bank barn. The rustic charm matches the rod iron chandeliers in the room leading to the tavern. In 2007 the former owners built an addition to the facility that speaks volumes, equipped with windows throughout to show off the amazing view... It really is breathtaking. Today the owners have renovated all the rooms in the building but, kept the rustic charm. It brings the family great joy to see so many people happy when they visit the property and to be able to share so many events with the individuals that rent the property is a joy that is indescribable.

Our wedding guests raved about this venue. The grounds, the food, the staff, and all of the amenities, they absolutely loved it! We loved how communicative the staff are, how they tend to and anticipate your every need, all of the decor options and the ability to customize every detail, and that we didn’t go in debt for it all! This truly is a one stop shop with top-notch industry professionals who will cater to you and create your dream day. You will not regret booking The Manor at Mountain View for your special event!

Awarded Best of Zola
We were drawn to this venue not only because of how beautiful it is, but also because they offer a tiny wedding package. We always knew that we were going to have a small wedding, so this was a great choice for us. We loved that the venue provided most of the necessary services, including food, cake, florals, tables/chairs, and so much more. It took so much stress off of wedding planning! Our wedding coordinator was Stephanie. She worked with us throughout the entire planning process and was very professional. She was also our day-of coordinator that helped make sure our wedding ran smoothly. Everything came together so nicely on our wedding day. Our ceremony was in the Italian Wedding Garden and our reception was in Casa Di Fiori. Both locations were so naturally beautiful on their own, so we didn’t need a ton of extra decorations to spruce it up. Everybody that we communicated with throughout the process was professional and open to all of our ideas and wishes. Overall, we are so happy that we chose to have our wedding at The Inn at Leola Village!

Crystal Springs Country Club at Grand Cascades Lodge

4.7

Hamburg, NJ
  • Up to 300 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $19,000

Incorporate this beautiful mountain oasis into an outdoor ceremony in the lush wedding garden or serene Quarry. Perched atop a sweeping crest, with the most stunning panoramic views in the tri-state area, you will find the luxurious four-star Adirondack-style Grand Cascades Lodge and Crystal Springs Country Club. The Emerald Ballroom is the ideal venue for weddings with a larger guest list, comfortably accommodating up to 300 guests & an indoor cocktail hour in the open-air rotunda that overlooks the scenic Kittatinny and Pochuck mountains.

My husband and I wanted to express our sincere gratitude for the overall beauty and charm of Grand Cascades Lodge, which made our wedding day truly memorable. The stunning views, exquisite grounds, and the spacious Emerald ballroom were perfect for our celebration. Working with Jean and Sara was generally a positive experience, and their welcoming attitude during our visits meant a lot to us. However, I wanted to share some constructive feedback regarding the planning process. While our customization requests were accommodated, there were communication challenges, especially on the day of the wedding, with multiple points of contact. The food tasting experience was delightful, and we appreciate the effort in accommodating our preferences. Although some dishes at the cocktail hour were well-received, the braised beef dish didn't meet the standard set during the tasting. Unfortunately, there were a few issues during the weekend that impacted our experience: - The memory table candles were not lit until late in the reception, despite prior requests. - Our sweetheart table had a wrinkled tablecloth, affecting the overall presentation. - The florist's flowers for the cake were left with the kitchen staff, and despite assurances, they were not added as planned. - The shuttle service delay inconvenienced elderly guests who had to wait longer than expected. Additionally shuttle service that was promised during the after party did not work as agreed upon. While these points highlight areas for improvement, we want to emphasize our appreciation for the positive aspects of our celebration. We understand that events may encounter unforeseen challenges, and we believe that sharing our experience can contribute to enhancing future events at GCL. Thank you for your attention to our feedback.

Nestled on 10 acres of meticulously lush gardens in the stunning Watchung Mountains. Stone House is a picturesque backdrop for your next celebration. Our two distinct event spaces are where luxury meets rustic and contemporary. The Grand Ballroom at Stirling Ridge Featuring 16’ ceilings and a series of glass doors and walls that open up to private gardens and fire pits. The Grand Ballroom is designed with classic, clean lines, state floors, and a natural color palette. Both The Grand Ballroom and The Lodge are located on opposite sides of the property, ensuring exclusive use of the facility and privacy for you and your guests. The Lodge at Stirling Ridge This mid-century modern, yet industrial space is fitted with floor-to-ceiling windows, wrought-iron chandleries, and a stone fireplace standing 20 feet tall. The mulit-level cocktail space offers the look and feel of an art gallery, while incorporating brick walls, slate and wood floors, and an angled ceiling.

My daughter was married at The Stonehouse in The Lodge. There are not enough positive words to describe the planning and the wedding. Carissa is an absolute pleasure to work with and I imagine to work for. She has the most amazing team of professional and friendly staff. The first time we sat down with her to plan the wedding, we felt like we were special clients. That feeling never disappeared from that day until the wedding. My daughter and I had endless questions throughout the planning. Carissa always responded in a timely fashion and never made us feel like we were a bother. My guests are still talking about the wedding, the venue and especially the food. My husband and I have frequently eaten at The Stonehouse and have always been impressed. We were not surprised that the catering is equally impressive. From the tasting, to planning the menu, to the actual wedding, the choices were endless and amazing. I can not think of a single thing I would change about the day. It was Perfect!! Landmark Group is a top wedding venue because they know how to do it right the first time and every time!!!
