In 1910, President Taft signed the bill to establish Glacier National Park as the country’s 10th national park. Mr. Healy was given a plumbing contractor for the train depot here in St. Paul, where he met Samuel Bartlett, the architect of many of the railroad depots and Glacier National Park Lodge. Healy then commissioned Bartlett to renovate and enlarge the house. In 1914, the farm was sold to John Healy, the owner of Healy Plumbing and Heating Company of St. Paul. Mr. Healy’s company became closely tied to the Great Northern Railroad, as it provided the heating and plumbing for many of the train depots that were being built around the country at that time. The farm was named Hope Glen Farm, the name of John Healy’s mother’s maiden name of Hope, and the house settles in a Glen, thus Hope Glen.

Inside the barn, we have two levels: one for your cocktail/social hour and our upper/main level where the party happens! The Sinclair on Grand is Northeast Minneapolis Gem. Tucked back it offers a private setting near the heart of the city. Built in 1905, this building is located in the heart of Northeast Minneapolis. This event space has a great industrial vibe with some beautiful rustic elements added in to make this a perfect space to hold all types of celebrations! We offer a very raw industrial space with massive beams and high ceilings. With an outdoor ceremony space and patio, you are able to have your city wedding with a secluded feel. Our 75 acres of rolling hills and oak trees provide a spacious setting for a one location all day wedding celebration. Bloom Lake Barn is a freshly renovated wedding and event venue located in Shafer, Minnesota near the gorgeous St. Croix River. Set in the picturesque St. Croix valley, Bloom Lake Barn provides that "out of the way" country charm a short 40-mile drive from the Twin Cities. The wooden barn is enormous and contains vaulted ceilings and gorgeous chandelier and cafe lighting. The lower level of the barn is another unique space containing rustic beams and high-top tables built from original stanchions.
