My passion for floral design began in 2013. I had just moved to Memphis, TN to participate in a sustainable farming program. Working alongside flower farmers, I grew an immense appreciate for the beauty of flowers. For me, designing is like painting with flowers. Working with my clients to see that their vision comes to fruition is very important to me, as I know that planning a wedding can be stressful. Erin Patrick McDonald With over 30 years experience designing events and interiors,he’s had the pleasure to design events throughout the United States as well as globally in locales such as Italy, France and Mexico.Erin has had the luxury of designing events for three presidents, several celebrities and thousands of happy clients.As the former VP for the venerable HMR Designs in Chicago, Erin is humbled by what flowers have afforded him to do and to see. Erins skills have placed him on the stage at event symposiums such as The SpecialEvent, CaterSource, and Bizbash.In 2019 he opened up an office in Upstate, Rochester New York, his hometown.

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

AMK Floral is locally owned and operated by Adrianne M Kompf since its inception in 2016. Adrianne has been a floral designer since 2007 when she began working with her grandmother at her shop Julie's Flowers. Adrianne is passionate about working with brides to make their wedding vision come to life. She will work within their budget to create a one of a kind look unique to each of her clients. Adrianne is a graduate of West Genesee High School in Camillus, NY where her shop is located and has a Bachelors degree in Studio art and Art history from the University of Rochester. She is married (2103) with 2 children; Robbie 5yrs & Emma 5 months.
