Hi I'm Patty, your wedding photographer. I am based in West Michigan and spend over 50% of my season servicing Detroit & Chicago couples. Along with servicing the Michigan and Chicago market, I have slowly begun to expand my territory to include destination work with places like Texas, Virginia, Florida and Spain. I serve couples who understand that this season is one worth being celebrated and remembered. The couples who embrace their family and their people however that looks. I started my career on Cape Cod, MA back in 2016 shooting weddings, families and events all over New England (ME, NH, VT, CT, MA, RI and CT) I started out as a second shooter for a well respected Boston based photographer for 2 years before creating my LLC.

We’re Kristyn and Jon! We’ve been together since 2014 and got married in 2019 with an epic disaster of a wedding! We planned it so carefully and thought of every detail so we could give our guests the ultimate experience (being wedding pros and all) and ended up with a monsoon that caused our tent to start collapsing! In the end, nothing went as planned except that we did what we set out to do- marry each other! While we can’t control the weather on your day, we can make it an amazing, fun-filled experience and be able to tell your story in the most authentic way possible, creating a work of art with your memories at the center of it.

I was that bride that no one wants to be. I was young and had no clue when it came to planning a wedding. I chose a wedding photographer that someone suggested and not necessarily that I loved. Then it happened. My wedding photos came back and were awful. Fifteen years later, they are still awful. From that day on I thought, never again. My role as a photographer continues to push me as a creative, learning how to chase light effectively and giving you images that you'll adore. YOU are my inspiration! Simple things in life are what make me smile. Relationships, sunshine and a cozy movie on the couch. Life is beautiful, isn't it?!
