Alba Lumos Photography

5.0

Rochester, NH
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $2,200

I'd say my photography style would be something along the lines of "lifestyle photography". [That means that posing you in silly ways that seem fake / awkward isn't really my jam.] I mean, unless that gets some snuggles & laughs. I'm ALLLL about that. I like to capture REAL life with REAL emotions and REAL smiles. Your session should be relaxed and fun. [All while I get some kick-ass photos!] I will most likely make a giant fool of myself at your session, so you'll feel like a professional. I sing, trip, laugh, make noises, mention inappropriate things, show my nerdiness. AKA YOU'RE GOING TO DO JUST FINE.

Awarded Best of Zola
The best, easiest and most wonderful experience. I have the most beautiful pictures from my wedding. I look at them all the time! So happy to have had Alba Lumos recommended to me - they were wonderful!

Hi there, we’re Shaunna + Mike! New Hampshire natives, and lovers of adventures. We live to travel, see new places, meet new people, experience new things - as long as there is pizza and wine, of course! Our passion lies in capturing the moments - the inbetween ones you didn’t see coming. The ones that bring back the memory of exactly how you felt. We put every bit of ourselves into each image that we take. And with every session we find a new reason to fall in love, with love, all over again. We want to help you tell your story by documenting all of life’s amazing moments & milestones.

Shaunna and Mike are incredible! From the first phone call they were welcoming and open to all of our ideas. Our engagement shoot provided an opportunity to work with Shaunna before our big day and we had so much fun. On wedding day Shaunna and Mike helped alleviate nerves with their fun prompts and sense of humor. We got multiple compliments on how fun and easy they were to work with. We highly recommend them!!

Gloria Bloise Photography

Portsmouth, NH
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $1,950

I am SO excited that you stumbled upon my work! I shoot weddings all across the Florida & New England! Capturing raw, true emotions as they happen is what I’m all about. I want to capture it all on your big day. From the moments of you putting your dress to the tears running down your face as you read your vows to each other. To the first kiss and “OMG you’re my spouse now!!” feels. To the unexpected Taco Bell run you make after the ceremony or your grandparents getting down on the dance floor. Being able to grab the moments for you to hold to forever, is such a rewarding humbling job for me.

Awarded Best of Zola
Gloria was a joy to work with! We did not book an engagement session so we did not meet her in person until the day of the wedding but she made us feel comfortable immediately and did an amazing job. It was pretty windy and cold during photos but you would never know looking back at them! She captured the excitement and love in the photos perfectly. I also can’t believe how quickly she had the whole gallery returned to us! So thankful to have so many great pictures to look back on.

Kate & Keith Photography

Kittery, ME
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $5,100

If it weren’t for YOU, we wouldn’t be excited about our job. Whether you are professionals passionate about your careers, are in the 4k White Mountain club, found love later in life, or can’t be defined by traditional labels, it’s YOU that makes “Kate & Keith Photography.” From our first meeting, we’ll be establishing a vibe. If we can’t conceive of future inside jokes, then we’re happy to make recommendations to some friends who may align. But if we get carried away by conversations of favorite hikes, or where you grew up, then you can bet we’ll be showing up on wedding day with all the excitement shared by your inner circle.

Awarded Best of Zola
Enthusiasm. Professionalism. Perfection. I adore Kate and Keith as humans and I respect them greatly as photographers. When we first met to talk about my wedding we ended up hanging out for two hours, drinking tea and sharing cake. Being with them felt easy, like old friends. That sense of ease made my decision simple:these are the right people for me! I would make that decision over and over again. The photos of my wedding day are exactly what I wanted. Each one has a memory and each one is stunning. Kate and Keith showed up early in the morning to photograph my bridal party rock climbing—they got right into the adventure. And at the wedding and reception they were attentive and directive in all the right ways. I am so so happy to know them and I am absolutely thrilled to have these photos for the rest of my life.

NuView is the PERFECT wedding photography company! I cannot speak highly enough about Paul and NuView Photography. I was referred to them by my cousin, whose wedding pictures came out beautifully. My now husband and I met with Paul via Zoom to discuss our wedding details and he was very attentive to our wants as well as responsive to my email communications throughout the process. On our wedding day, Paul was with myself and the girls and was so attentive to every detail of the morning. His assistant Peter arrived to the boys and immediately got to work! He had some great ideas as the boys got ready and the photos turned out fantastic! We are incredibly happy with the service and photos we received from NuView. I recommend them to any one that I know getting married!

Julie K. Gray Photography

5.0

Saco, ME
  • Photojournalistic style

Hi, I’m Julie! I’ve been photographing weddings for about ten years now (holy cow, do I feel old!), starting with photographing friends' weddings and quickly falling in love with the work. While I adore capturing gorgeous portraits of the bride and groom and the quiet (and sometimes chaotic!), beautiful moments during a wedding/elopement/engagement session, those ridiculous candid moments (like when a stranger offers you a fry on the boardwalk during your bridesmaid photos) truly make your day uniquely yours. I'd absolutely describe my style as a mixture of classic, artistic and photojournalism, but my heart lies in capturing candid moments.

Awarded Best of Zola
Julie did our engagement pictures last year and our wedding photos just a few weeks ago. Her pictures are incredible, I love every single one. Full of color, Julie has a unique eye for staging photos to make each one look perfect. We couldn’t have picked a better photographer

The amount of photos we received was beyond what you get from most photographers, not to mention we started receiving photos just a day or two after our wedding! Brett Alison Photography

5.0

Newton, NH
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,000

I’m a New Hampshire wedding photographer, who specializes in candid, natural wedding photography, serving all of New England for over fifteen years. Almost all of my couples come to me saying that they feel weird in front of the camera and worried about how their photos will turn out. But of course they want those gorgeous, Pinterest-worthy shots! My laid-back attitude will help put you at ease, helping your true personalities shine through (with simple and fun guidance for the posed photos). And my quiet and calm nature makes it easy for me to blend into the background, to get tons of candid photos that you will make you laugh and cry.

Awarded Best of Zola
Working with Brett was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We were looking for casual candids and photos that looked effortless, something we thought we would be difficult to achieve because we are “unphotogenic”. Not only did Brett go above and beyond, we were absolutely astounded by how incredible our photos came out. Previews came the next day and throughout the week after our wedding and we were speechless! Everyone loved our photos, but multiple family members mentioned that the collection perfectly reflected the vibe of the day and setting. We will cherish our wedding photos forever - thank you Brett!!

Where do I begin and how could I ever Capture (pun intended) the love I have for Becca and her work. Becca is the kind of photographer you meet and instantly you have a new friend. She is incredibly professional, but laid back and always makes sure you feel comfortable. As someone who had never had professional pictures done, we didn’t know what to expect. I know personally I was afraid of feeling awkward or that it would look like I was meant to be in an 80’s glamor shot. When I tell you it was so much fun, and Becca’s creativity and ability to just let you be you and capture the raw natural moments with your significant other are unmatched. She gives you great prompts which make you laugh and feel silly, and that’s where the magic happens, when you are blissfully unaware that she is capturing you and your loved one laughing, which turns into the pictures that bring tears to your eyes. Becca takes the time to get to know you, your style, and the vibe of the wedding. She is easy-going and so helpful when it comes to the timeline. She was able to weigh in and help us weigh the pro’s and con’s and looking back, I wouldn’t change a thing. What I will suggest is booking with Becca, and spending the money on the second photographer (if it’s within your budget). Having a second shooter made pictures go so smoothly we had some extra time for fun portraits and they’re some of my favorite pictures. Huge thank you to Becca for capturing such beautiful memories that will last a lifetime.
