Normanside Country Club

5.0

Delmar, NY
  • Up to 230 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor
  • Starts at $14,000

When it comes to your wedding, the most important thing is you. Normanside is here to make your vision a reality with our tailored wedding packages. Our packages are designed to leave you happy and satisfied, but if anything needs to be altered to better suit your vision, our coordinator will be available to you, as a trusted resource you can rely on. We include chiavari chairs, custom linens, elegant glass ware & flatware- at no extra cost to you! We offer an on-site outdoor ceremony space that is covered with a retractable awning. The on-site ceremony space looks over the Normanskill Creek for perfect sunsets photos and guests' views.

We got married at The Normanside Country club in August 2023. we scoured the internet for venues (location, budget, scenery / environment, multifunctional, limited amount of vendors). Each venue had their pros and cons. Nickel and dime-ing every possible item that might come up during wedding day (renting a golf cart for 500 so the wedding ceremony could be handicap accessible!). Beautiful but would require a lot of additional vendors (translated to us - stress). The Normanside was our last visit. My wife had been there before but I had found and suggested so I was excited. It had a LOT of what I was looking for: Practicality - easily accessible location directly south of Albany Privacy - the location is secluded - no unexpected interruptions Nature - beautiful backdrop with lush green scenery and golf course Food (catering) - done on site (and approved of by my wife) perhaps my favorite part of what The Normanside offered I discovered when I arrived. I just always felt welcomed. Like I belonged. Like our goals were aligned. Like they wanted this to be as easy (relatively speaking) and spectacular as it possibly could. I’m a BIG customer service guy. Make people feel comfortable, at home, like you care, and you’ll go a long way in the service industry. And that all starts with Jaimie (Catering and Event Manager) at the Normanside. We had our fair share of run-ins with Dave, the owner, as well. He was always around somewhere helping out. But, the first person we met was Jaimie. We were visiting during the summer. It was hot. As we walked into the venue, I turned to my wife “it would be AMAZING if they offered me a water”. After brief pleasantries upon arrival Jaimie took us back to where we would have our meeting. As we sat, she said “would you care for some water?” And from that moment on, she was not only our security blanket and guide throughout the whole process but often times predicted our needs or improved our ideas. She’s experienced and familiar with the styles of the times in a way that affords her the opportunity to share her knowledge almost as if making an essay question turn into a multiple choice on a test. Now, my wife was on top of everything too. She was so prepared. And that was SO great. But what really let that shine through was the coordination that allowed us to have WITH Jaimie and the staff. For implementation. For discussion. For ensuring everything was just how we wanted it. For that to be an easy process and not riddled with back and forth miscommunications. Jaimie gave us a tour of the grounds on our first visit while giving us an overview of how things normally worked or what other people often did for their ceremonies. Showed us where each part of the day would happen. Outdoor ceremonies were a weather concern. She showed us the protective awning. My wife LOVES simple elegance. She showed us the stunning Bridal suite. We were smitten from the moment we arrived. This feeling and treatment permeated our whole experience, from owner to every staff member. We recently got our video and pictures and can’t stop revisiting! Running out of space in the review - lightning round! Pricing - reasonable, straightforward, pick your level of service Staff - exceptional throughout from top to bottom - particularly dedicated to bride and groom at all times throughout the big day Food - tons of variety, all great, in no short supply Bakery - Perfect blend - loved mini cupcakes with personal flavor variety

Windham Manor was the perfect wedding venue for us! Susan and Barry (the owners) were incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to make our day absolutely perfect. I was nervous about everything being in done in time (we were one of the first weddings) but the barn and surrounding area looked absolutely perfect and all of our guests said it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to. Having the house on site was the perfect place to get ready and everything ran so smoothly! We were able to host the day after brunch at the house as well. Our photographs of the wedding are amazing and we will always remember our special day at Windham Manor. We highly recommend Windham Manor to any engaged couple looking for the venue of their dreams!

Living Stone

5.0

Round Top, NY
  • Up to 125 guests
  • Limited services
  • Outdoor
  • Starts at $7,000

Living Stone is an enchanted forest wedding venue in the Catskills- an exquisite handmade open air Pavilion nestled in the woods of the Catskills, with our very own waterfall. Onsite catering, full liquor license, and all the amenities of a state of the art facility, but in the woods. Contact us to set up a site visit to come and see our unique venue in person, and take the first step in hosting the wedding of your dreams!

We found Living Stone in our own backyard and were immediately swept away by the natural beauty of the landscape and the incredible work Heather and Django have put into making the space what it is. Words truly can not describe what they have created, from the boulders along the moss path to the hand-built mortise and tenon pavilion to the waterfall that seems to be the heartbeat of the living stone, you simply have to experience it to understand what it is. Beyond the natural beauty, Heather and Django shared with us and our families the warmest hospitality and most delicious food. We met and discussed some of our ideas, and quickly Heather had curated a menu that not only reflected who we are but would still be approachable to all of our guests. The food was locally sourced, fresh, and absolutely incredible. It is clear that Heather, Django, and their staff are passionate about what they create and serve to the people who have the privilege of experiencing everything Living Stone has to offer. The day of our wedding it rained for the entirety of the day, while we had to pivot our plans a little bit, Heather had a rain contingency plan that was executed flawlessly by her and their staff, and our day was ultimately perfect. The rain charged the creek, and the waterfall roared, and we danced the night away. We simply could not have found a place more beautiful or run by people more talented and incredible. We have and will continue to recommend Living Stone for anything one could need an event space for. The grounds are expansive and beautiful and would be well suited for any gathering of people who want to celebrate love in a truly spectacular place. We are so grateful to be a part of the Living Stone family. Thank you again to Heather, Django, and the entire Living Stone team for making our wildest dreams for our special day a reality.

I wish I could encapsulate everything that I love about the Maples Estate and working with Katie and Louis into one paragraph, but I'll try my best! My husband and I got married here and couldn't have been more pleased and grateful for the experience. We booked additional wedding coordination / design services with Katie and are soooo relieved that we did. She helped us throughout the entire process, had all of the answers, and was a constant source of support. My husband and I loved the idea of getting married somewhere that had an estate on the property so that some of our loved ones can stay with us and turn it into a long weekend of fun. We toured a handful of places that catered to this idea but Maples stood out from everything we saw for several reasons: Katie and Louis are on the property and are always a text away if needed, the house has the most amazing 1850's charm with all of the modern fixes needed to be comfortable, the amount of land to explore is wild, and Katie's background in event planning. It's hard to explain how my husband and I felt so at home and comforted when we had an initial tour, but we felt it in our gut and knew that we made the right call! Thank you to Katie and Louis for the valuable work that you do for your couples, we can't thank you enough!

Loft 433

5.0

Troy, NY
  • Up to 200 guests
  • Limited services
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $9,000

Loft 433 is a unique and versatile space offering unlimited possibilities for a truly memorable event. Built in the late 1800’s as a shirt factory, the building still maintains much of it’s industrial vibe with original masonry walls and lofty ceilings complemented by elegant touches in the ballroom, floor to ceiling windows and a rooftop space that provides one-of-a-kind skyline views of the Hudson River, the perfect backdrop for your event!

This was my first and only venue I toured and I fell in love. We were looking for something very modern and our style and this was exactly that! I was so in love with the large floor to ceiling windows and at night it was absolutely stunning! The outside patio with the fire pits were such a beautiful touch and everyone was loving them all night! The food & drinks were delicious and I have to mention how amazing the staff was to us.. truly wouldn’t have gotten through the night without them! Highly recommend!!
