Seven Ponds Farm

5.0

Summit, NY
  • Up to 125 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor & outdoor

Seven Ponds Farm is a heavenly spot way up in the Catskill mountains, with a dozen ponds and lakes, and pastures as long as the eye can see. GALLERY Seven Ponds is the new sister property of Blenheim Hill Farm, a well-known destination wedding venue with raving reviews. Seven Ponds has been designed to host smaller, intimate weddings from 75 guests up to 140 guests with the same magical qualities and attention to detail as our sister farm Blenheim.

Mary · married on 09/28/2019 Better than I imagined If I could give them 10 stars I would. Gorgeous, perfect, stunning, spectacular…and every other similar adjective. Our Seven Ponds wedding exceeded every expectation. The setting is just beautiful – impossible to get a bad picture with the farm as a backdrop. The farmhouse suited our bridal party to a T. Everyone had plenty of room, the well-equipped kitchen made it easy to feed our crew on the Friday before and the Saturday of the wedding. We enjoyed a delicious barbecue buffet after our rehearsal and family and bridal party gathered around the bonfire with s’mores afterward. The morning of the wedding, the amazing team (more about them later) doted on us with mimosas and freshly baked muffins. The wedding ceremony went off without a hitch – timing was perfect. And the cocktail hour and reception flew by way too fast. Guests were in awe of the food and the setting in the barn. Our Sunday morning brunch on the porch was the perfect way to close out a perfect weekend. Kudos, applause, and many, many thanks to team leaders, Slywia & Jab – not sure they slept at all over the weekend! They were patient, kind, cheerful, and full of good humor. They kept everything running smoothly and seemed to be in six different places at once. Keeping up the same pace were the rest of the staff. We also must mention our bartender extraordinaire for the weekend, Greg! He managed to stay on top of everyone’s particular order and made every guest feel welcome and catered to. We also know there were many others who maintained the barn, the farmhouse, chefs and others who served our party – everyone was wonderful. We booked our wedding just after Min and Morten purchased the farm – it wasn’t finished when we first saw it. They had a beautiful vision of what they wanted to create and we benefited from the realization of that vision! Their commitment to ensuring bride, groom, family, and guests was clear when they were there to greet us on Friday and stopped in at the reception on Saturday. Be able to do the pre wedding planning of food tastings, meetings, etc at their restaurant in NYC was extremely helpful, as that's where we are based. They were extremely attentive and on top of it the entire way, answering every question we had! Wish we could do it all again every weekend!

Tricia & Marty were amazing through the whole processes of wedding planning. We originally booked with them pre-pandemic based on their beautiful landscaping and our interaction with them. We felt like a part of their family from the start. With all of the ups and downs 2020 brought, they made sure to keep us posted with any state requirements and answered our millions of questions/concerns. Lippincott had the rustic/modern feel that we love and it was more stunning in person and we received tons of complements. They took care of everything so we can just enjoy our wedding day. We truly were lucky that we found Lippincott Manor and looking forward to going back for future weddings!

Our wedding day was an exceeded our expectations, and it wouldn't have been possible without the incredible services provided by FEAST. From the moment we stepped onto the property to the final farewell, every aspect of our special day was flawlessly executed, leaving us and our guests with memories to cherish forever. The venue's location was nothing short of breathtaking. Nestled in the midst of natural beauty, the surroundings provided a picturesque backdrop for our ceremony and reception. The well-manicured gardens and charming architecture created an enchanting atmosphere that perfectly complemented the romantic ambiance we envisioned for our wedding. The outdoor ceremony space with the grounded flowers and tree made us feel like we were in a movie. Peter, Shelly, Kim, and our maitre d' Ellen were a true delight to work with. We attended a tour and tasting which is what sold us. The options for food were unique and we didn't feel like they were trying to hide something which is what it seemed like from other venues when we asked about food. From the initial planning stages to the actual wedding day, they were attentive, accommodating, and organized. They helped us every step of the way, making the process stress-free and enjoyable. Their expertise and attention to detail ensured that no aspect of the event was overlooked, allowing us to focus on the excitement of our big day. We knew we wanted an all inclusive venue to alleviate stress of coordinating caterers and bar tenders. This comprehensive package made wedding planning remarkably convenient, as we didn't have to search for multiple vendors or worry about coordinating different services. It also gave us the freedom to customize certain elements to reflect our unique style and preferences. The culinary experience provided by the venue's catering team was exceptional. This was the first wedding we had ever been too where the guests ate their whole dinner. Our guests raved about the delicious food, and the presentation was elegant and appetizing. The waitstaff was attentive and courteous, ensuring that everyone's needs, dietary restrictions, and allergies were met with utmost care and consideration. We received many compliments about the amount of hors d'oeuvres served and the speed the staff distributed them. The "You don't have to be Jewish" food station was a unique touch that many of our guests loved. When we arrived to get ready on our wedding day the bridal suite was set up with champagne and coffee which was a nice touch. Ellen contacted us earlier in the week to see how we wanted our décor set up and got straight to work making our vision a reality. She also kept us on track with our timeline, our guests even noticed and kept saying how organized the venue was. Our server, Lily, anticipated all our needs. After the ceremony there were hors d'oeuvres and drinks in the bridal suite for us to eat before joining our guests for cocktail hour. Lily was always there with water and drinks, even when we didn't know we needed it. Every time my bustle came undone, before I noticed there was a staff member there to fix it. We highly recommend this venue to any couple seeking a truly special and stress-free wedding day. Thank you to the entire team for making our dream wedding a reality!

We got married at "A Private Estate" in October of 2018. We visited the year before, and it was one of the few (and the last) places we looked at. I loved it from the start. The grounds were beautiful, but more importantly, the people were great. I felt like we were dealing with real people who were doing what they do out of both love and pride. They showed us all the options, allowed us plenty of space to decide, and overall gave off good vibes. Our intuition told us this was it, and a year later we were so grateful we listened. After a year of planning an outdoor wedding we found out there would be a nor'easter... in October... with high winds and hail... the day of the wedding (thirty-seven degrees!) When we arrived, on Thursday, I was devastated. I never thought I'd find myself crying over the weather, or caring quite so much, but after all the work that goes in to planning and all the family that had traveled to be with us I felt sick. I thought I would be so sad until the wedding was over but as soon as we stepped out of the car the crew, specifically Jack, turned the whole situation around. He brought us wine and firewood, walked us through the estate, allowed us to use this beautiful tent they had put up, and talked about the set-up and how we could work it all out no matter what happened with the weather. He spoke with me and my mother outside the front house in the windy, chilly weather for maybe an hour, reassuring us that no matter what happened he would figure it out, and he did. The morning of the wedding was rain, wind, hail, etc... but that didn't stop Jack, and our wedding planner Danielle (Every Little Detail), from making sure everything was perfect. We watched them run up and down the hills in the rain, shuffling people, heating the barn, and working so hard on our behalf, and I don't think a single guest really even noticed. All we heard was how beautiful the space was, how much fun everyone was having, how impressed they were. RIpley brought us umbrellas and blankets as waited on the porch during the ceremony and was so welcoming and accommodating. A Private Estate was the perfect venue for us. It is so customizable too, whether you want a fancy & formal affair, or a more relaxed party. The views and the grounds speak for themselves, but the true value is having a supportive staff who care as much about your wedding as you do. Every time I look at my wedding photos (the rain makes for some great lighting!) I remember all the love from our families and friends, and the overwhelming appreciation for the staff at A Private Estate. It is cliche, but if I could go back, I wouldn't change a thing. Two years later I still feel the same gratitude. With A Private Estate you can have the outdoor wedding of your dreams... even in a nor'easter.
