Beech Hill Barn is a place where you can escape and surround yourself with nature, yet still hold your event in an upscale, modern timber-frame barn. The numerous barn doors help bring the outside in with a view of the wildflower filled fields, woodland, rolling hills and open sky. The estate includes two timber-frame barns and three lodging options. The Modern Barnhouse (sleeps 16) and The Loft (sleeps 2) are right next to the Barn, the 1832 Farmhouse (sleeps 10) is less than a minute from the barn. Maine's only greenhouse event venue exclusively designed for wedding receptions and ceremonies. 2021 marks 72 years of Highland Farm’s history in Scarborough, Maine. From the beginning, the property has been operating as a greenhouse. In fact, in the 1800’s, Highland Farm was the largest supplier of cut flowers in the Northeast. Highland Farm is a family owned and operated business, and the undeniable sense of family and welcome energy is palpable the moment you step on the grounds. The saying is true here: “you come as strangers and leave as family.” The Greenhouse and The Farm has been run by 3rd generation owners, Joe and Christine since 2008, but Joe and Christine’s involvement in the farm runs far deeper than ownership. In 2009, the couple was married in one of the working greenhouses
