Adam Griffin Photo

5.0

West Hollywood, CA
  • Editorial style
  • Starts at $5,000

I’m Adam—a Boston native who’s now roaming around California photographing everything I see. When I’m not behind the camera you can usually find me in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes, sipping a dirty martini with friends, jamming to Taylor Swift in the car, or taking my rescue pup Ollie to the park or on long neighborhood walks. I got my first film camera when I was 8, and it was love at first sight. Capturing your story is more than just a job for me. From destination elopements to parties of the century, I've seen it all and love every minute of a wedding day.

Awarded Best of Zola
Adam is an exceptionally professional, flexible, and organized individual. He brings an incredible amount of expertise to the table, quelling any potential feelings of unease, discomfort, or anxiety pertaining to photography - especially when it comes to big events. We can only begin to describe how fortunate we are to have had Adam's support and guidance for our engagement and for our wedding. Beyond our gratitude for his amazing work, we felt as if he was fully engaged in our wedding festivities from start to finish, and are truly appreciative of this. Many of our friends and family noted how immersed he and his assistant were throughout the entirety of our special evening, adding tremendously to the environment in a positive manner. At the time of the writing of this review, we can see that Adam's profile is exclusively comprised of five-star ratings, and we can attest to the fact that he deserves every single one of those, if not more. If you are in the search for a kind, knowledgeable, and elite professional - someone who will take your once-in-a-lifetime experience and immortalize it in a priceless fashion - then look no further.

Stephen Tang Photo

5.0

Pasadena, CA
  • Editorial style
  • Starts at $4,100

While some photographers emphasize their gear or trendy post-processing, I take pride in subject-photographer interaction - the relation I build with clients, picking up on nuances in pose and expression while we shoot, anticipating the viewers' response - because ultimately, that's how photographs that matter to us are created. I'm a native New Yorker who found myself relocating to Los Angeles and making it my home. Wherever you'd like to have your wedding, it would be my pleasure to be your photographer.

Awarded Best of Zola
Stephen was more than a photographer, he basically helped me plan my elopement. He talked me through the pros and cons of various locations, and helped me think through the process of obtaining a license for photography. He took time to understand that we were striving for a simple, but intimate wedding; he was patient with our cranky 2 year old; and endlessly gracious with our elderly parents who were along for the ride. Importantly, my husband and I are terrible at being photographed (we are awkward) and Stephen made us feel at ease with our surroundings. I would hire Stephen again in a heartbeat.

Hayden & Harlo

Palmdale, CA
  • Editorial style
  • Starts at $3,500

Perfectly Imperfect, for the madly in love. I'm David Scott Bowles—a creative soul who traded chef's knives for a camera lens, diving headfirst into the world of photography. For over ten years, I've been capturing not just pictures but tales—each click a chapter in a visual story. My style? It's a mashup of boldness and moody vibes, adding depth to every frame. My work's graced the pages of Shutter Magazine, Voyager Magazine, and even landed spots in the esteemed LA Times. From snazzy commercial shots to soul-stirring fine art and heartfelt wedding tales spun under Hayden and Harlo, my portfolio’s a colorful spectrum.

I have had the pleasure of watching the birth and growth off this incredible artisan. A true master of his craft who is constantly seeking to improve his skills and technique. His eye for the perfect shot is beyond anything my wife and I could've planned for or imagined. Whenever my wife and I look at what he captured, it's like reliving one of the most perfect days of our life all over again and we get to relive the emotions we both felt on that magical day.

Nastya worked with me at a wedding in Warsaw as a second photographer several times. I liked the fact that she takes her work very seriously and does not lose her creative approach. Together we photographed several weddings very well. I’m sure that Nastya alone will do no worse!

Brittney Raine Photography

5.0

Santa Monica, CA
  • Editorial style

**PSA: Please inquire via website instead of through Zola!** I'm Brittney, a wedding and portrait photographer from Los Angeles. I'm a houseplant enthusiast, traveler (no place is too far), enneagram 4, binge-watcher of The Office, ice cream lover, and introvert fascinated by human emotion + connection. Photographing weddings has truly been my dream job, and I feel so honored every time I'm invited to capture intimate moments in peoples’ lives.

Awarded Best of Zola
Brittney is a gem of a photographer and a shining star of a person. She captured our wedding more beautifully than either of us could have imagined or wished for. Being photographed by her feels like hanging out with your chillest, most talented friend, who knows how to work ALL your angles. Aside from being talented and kind, she radiates the coolest, most calming vibes throughout every situation. We shot our engagement photos outside on a cold, rainy day and somehow Brittney managed to make us feel like it was warm and sunny. Throughout the course of our wedding day, she kept us calm and on schedule, making everything feel like an effortless breeze. But Brittney is so much more than a photographer. Even in the time leading up to our wedding, she was there to answer all questions and give suggestions about everything wedding related. She answers her e-mails so promptly and comprehensively, and is always willing to jump on the phone to talk it out. Brittney provided so much priceless guidance when we didn't know who else to look to. Ultimately, Brittney is the full package. I'd say triple threat, but she's much more than that. She's not only a really good photographer, but she's a really good person. TLDR; Hire Brittney, it'll be the best wedding decision you make (aside from marrying your spouse, I guess).

Heather East Weddings

Los Angeles, CA
  • Editorial style
  • Starts at $3,500

Hello! So glad we've found each other! I LOVE to capture your authentic moments, with a perfect texture of candid or documentary style photography + a prompts or direction moments, seamlessly interjected into your unfolding moments. Let's vibe about what your day, and what's most important to you two to capture <3

Awarded Best of Zola
Heather gave us a personalized and affordable wedding photography package. She was helpful, timely, and supportive during our crazy wedding day. So much went wrong, but our photographers and flowers were some of the highlights that made our day amazing. The additional creative touch Heather brought went above and beyond our expectations. She brought confetti into the desert to highlight some of our post-first look photos and she brought champagne for a champagne pop with our bridal party. These little details made the experience all the more enjoyable. She also returned the photos quite fast! We will definitely recommend Heather for anyone getting married in the future.

Kristina Lee Photography

5.0

Long Beach, CA
  • Editorial style
  • Starts at $3,700

Born in the desert (AZ Baby!) and relocated to the sea. I firmly believe that a good day starts with a cup of coffee and ends with glass of red wine. I own more jewelry than I do clothes and in my opinion, too much gold does not exist. My biggest passion will always be photography. I’ve had a camera in my hands since I was a little girl – I would even set up “stylized shoots” in my family’s living room that consisted of sheets pinned to the wall, my friends and fake flowers (embarrassing, but I’m not kidding!). I strive for those editorial, Vogue-like shots, but I really live for those private, in-between moments.

Awarded Best of Zola
We loved every minute with Kristina! She traveled to Arizona to shoot our engagement photos and she came all the way to Jamaica to shoot our Wedding. She has such a creative way of capturing the beauty of a single moment so effortlessly. I know, years from now when I see these photos, my heart will still race the way it did that day. For that, I will be forever grateful! When you think about it, there's very little remaining of your wedding day. The flowers have gone, the guests have flown home, you are back at work. About the only thing that remains is the photos, so I think it is a great investment to get the absolute best, and for that I would recommend Kristina Lee Photography every time!

ZAYA PHOTOGRAPHY

5.0

Los Angeles, CA
  • Editorial style
  • Starts at $1,800

Meet with your Photographer. "The most important thing for me is to create a feeling with my bride and groom, in order to have the best approach on the D-day, and to respect a professionalism, a dress-code, or a planning while keeping the pleasure of capturing these unique moments for my clients."

I'm so excited to share my experience with photographer Oleg, and don't know where to start. My fiancé and I spent so much time on the research in order to find the best team, and best quality product, and Zaya was absolutely the right decision, besides they have exceed all the expectations we had. They managed to take all the beautiful moments (even those that I forgot) and the pictures editing was sooo perfect. Since we didn't have enough time on preparation (month only), we couldn't meet with them in advance to discuss what exactly we were looking for, but let me tell you, the real professionals do not need any guidance. The whole team are such perfectionists, and all the services they provide are for 100%. I highly recommend Oleg’s Zaya to anyone who is looking for their moments to be captured by real professionals.

Sam Turchin Photo

5.0

Los Angeles, CA
  • Editorial style
  • Starts at $2,200

Hi! My name is Sam Turchin and I’m a wedding & portrait photographer. I'm also a nature-loving, taco-craving, always-up-for-adventuring Los Angeles native. Elegant, unique, and romantic photos that are both modern & timeless.

Awarded Best of Zola
We booked Sam for our engagement shoot and our wedding reception, and we’re so happy we did. She’s fun to work with, very communicative, and creates the most beautiful photos. She’s able to capture the vibe you ask for, and if you’re unsure, she can still figure out how to make something stunning. Would highly recommend Sam for any first-timers like me who have never been photographed, or for nerdy brides who like to talk about Star Wars during a shoot!
