I'm Catie- a Port Huron, Michigan based wedding and couples photographer. My passion for weddings started as I planned my own (10.14.23 baby!) and I decided to jump into wedding photography full time. Weddings are such a precious time and my goal is to showcase your love story. A little more about me: I love tacos & margaritas, iced coffee, traveling, and reading.

I've been shooting weddings for 12 years. Nature really inspires me, I like natural, not perfect photos. I love when my brides are easy going and want to get amazing shots as much as I do! Hate posed photos and brides, if you're worried about your dress getting dirty, I might not be your girl :)

Slow and simple is my preferred way of life– my approach to weddings is the same. A thoughtfully designed timeline lets you enjoy the little moments, experience deeper connections with your friends and family, and allows me to document your wedding day with intention. When you receive your final gallery, there will be a mix of editorial, traditional and candid images. Couples say they have a hard time deciding which ones to print because they love so many of them. I’m a travel wedding and elopement photographer. I also shoot boudoirs for the brides + maternity! I set out to capture artistic, yet luxurious images while making my clients the happiest people ever! I’m a United States Marine! I served an 8-year contract! I’ve also been extremely passionate about photography for as long as I can remember! I Have two cats, but I travel the country with my flat face Leo! He’s an exotic short hair!

I’m a dog-obsessed introvert whose heart is filled by the moments that I get to capture with my camera. I feel so incredibly lucky that after growing up with such a strong passion for photography and refusing to accept it as just a hobby, I get to call this my full-time career. I have my Bachelors Degree in Fine Art from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit and do most of my photography out of Southeast, MI, but I travel worldwide! I am a self confessed love story addict! Thirteen years ago I photographed my first wedding but before that I never would have imagined doing this for a living.That first wedding just pulled me in. I really love photographing each little love story. Each couple has a beautifully unique story and it’s my job to learn it and capture the true essence of their story.
