The venue features a 1-acre pond, a 3-bedroom Bridal Cottage, a down-stairs Groom's Room, a large climate-controlled wedding barn, an outdoor patio, a covered pavilion​ with stone fireplace, and the wonderland woods. At Dragonfly, you have a place for all your wedding festivities: engagement pictures​, rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception.

Edwards Place, built in 1833, was a social center of antebellum Springfield. In its gracious parlors Abraham Lincoln, Stephen Douglas, Ulysses S. Grant, and other Illinois luminaries gathered at elegant parties and balls. You, too, can have your special day in the same rooms where Abraham and Mary Lincoln were guests more than 150 years ago, now meticulously restored to the grandeur of their antebellum days. Edwards Place is available to rent for showers, weddings, and receptions – the perfect choice for a distinctive event in a historically significant setting. You can even include extra services for your event, such as the use of a piano often heard by Abraham Lincoln (and possibly played at his wedding!). Our rental space has three areas of possibility - the historic house museum, the grounds in front of Edwards Place, and the M.G. Nelson Gallery, a part of our parent organization, the Springfield Art Association, and directly attached by a doorway to historic Edwards Place.

Laumeier offers unique indoor and outdoor rental spaces set among the Park’s 105 acres and more than 70 large-scale sculptures, for anywhere from 50–500 guests! Engelbrecht Farm sits on 8 acres and is located in the heart of farming country. A very unique structural features of the barn is the opening to allow guests to be seated to two levels and both levels can look at the head table for a gallery type feel. The other unique feature is its size. It is the largest actual barn (not modern structure that looks like a barn) within multiple states at 4500 square feet. Adjacent to the barn is the old 4000 square foot feedlot with flower garden and iron pergola. Late in the day makes for a great spot for outdoor games. With the barn comes the recently restored, three bedroom farmhouse originally constructed in the 1890’s. One amazing aspect for the wedding package is it’s a standard three day booking. Families arrive on Friday and check out on Sunday. This gives them time to relax and take the whole experience in. Plus the time is spent making their wedding their own. This is the place for imagination and creativity to really shine.

Atelier 1879 is located in historic Benton Park. This 3,200 sq feet venue provides large open space with bar and 3 other separate spaces that offer unique photo opportunities or anything else if privacy is needed. Atelier 1879 is one of the most unique venues in St. Louis that radiates timeless charm and elegance with breathtaking indoor/outdoor space magic.
