The Best Place at Pabst was so easy to work with, affordable, flexible drink packages, lots of fun amenities, natural atmosphere and decor means you don’t need to do much decorating of your own, I could go on and on. Our guests could not stop raving about how unique, intimate and lovely the space was. We used the Blue Ribbon Hall which included a balcony space which we used to give our guests the opportunity to play classic WI card games; Euchre, Sheepshead, cribbage etc… It was a great, separate space to hang out but still be a part of the celebration and watch the dancing. The staff even accommodated our last minute request to play the Bucks playoff game on the projector during dinner! Our wedding included lots of guests from out of town and out of state and we really wanted a venue that embodied Milwaukee culture. This. Was. IT.

Waterford, WI
  • Up to 200 guests
  • Limited services

  • Starts at $4,500

Halverson House is more than just a ‘day of’ wedding venue. Instead it is a way of life that caters to families as they come together to celebrate what being a family, new or old, truly means. We believe in “comfortable elegance” which isn’t simply a tagline, but instead a standard throughout all that we offer. Comfort to us means a stress free experience for you and your guests from planning, to the day of your wedding and even afterwards. Situated on a private 120 acre site, Halverson House combines historical charm with the comfort of today’s modern amenities. The formal gardens and picturesque pond complement the still farmed agricultural land, wooded areas while the 1910 Victorian Mansion radiates luxury in exquisite details and full bridal suite. The granary, turned groom's quarters is complete with game tables, and lounge area while our fully restored 1860's post beam construction barn pairs historic detail with your most desired comfortable conveniences and elegant finishes.

Wow, where do I even begin. When my husband and I stumbled across Halverson House and set up a tour, the instant we pulled in the drive we were blown away by the beauty and overall comfort of what this place has to offer. I remember stepping out of the car and instantly getting goosebumps stunned by all the beautiful scenery. Joi, Mike & their amazing family & staff made us feel like part of the family right away. They made sure every single detail of our wedding was perfect, and we cannot thank them enough because our day was nothing less than that. The entire day was completely stress-free! They truly care about you, and their passion for bringing families together is just so amazing. They have created an absolute gorgeous venue and have worked so hard for this. We seriously cannot thank you all enough, for all your hard work and love. If you are looking for a place to get married, THIS IS THE PLACE! University Club Of Milwaukee - City And Country Club

5.0

Milwaukee, WI
  • Up to 225 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor & outdoor

The University Club of Milwaukee and Tripoli Country Club merged in 2016. Today, there simply is no other club in the region that offers the same heritage, legacy of excellence, and breadth of experiences as The University Club of Milwaukee. Founded in 1898 by a group of 19 college alumni, The University Club's founding mission was to offer members a distinctive opportunity to network, share ideas, grow relationships, and engage in the issues of the day. This was a time of great hope and promise, and of progress and innovation. In 1921, entrepreneurial members of the Tripoli Temple in Milwaukee purchased land at what is now Good Hope Road and 43rd Street in Milwaukee and began a country club for the benefit of its members. Tripoli Country Club and its championship-caliber golf course attracted fine golfers, also serving as an oasis for members and their families. Now united by a common commitment to excellence, engagement, and a desire to positively impact the lives of our members.

Everything from start to finish was amazing with UClub! Leah and the staff were great and pleasant to work with! We had the venue pretty much to ourselves all weekend which was great for my out of town family. Everything was stress free and taken care of without question! I would 100% recommend this venue to anyone for a wedding! It was everything and more than what I imagined!

Upper East

5.0

Kenosha, WI

Upper East, on the second floor of the former Barden's building, is an urban space with expansive windows highlighting views of its historic Downtown Kenosha location. An original staircase and tin ceilings on the second floor hint back to the history of the industrial space. Upper East can accommodate up to 300 guests. We invite you to experience the timeless beauty, simplicity, and hidden historic charm of Kenosha, Wisconsin's newest premier indoor venue.

This place was so good to us through the planning process. We booked about 2 years ahead of our date as the world was coming off all the covid craziness. I had seen them on social media prior to getting engaged and we booked after it being the only venue we toured. It is the perfect back drop to any theme or color palette. Let me tell you, they have it all! I worked closest with Kelsey and then Hanni and they were wonderful. Always available by email every step of the way through planning and sent reminders of when we needed to get together for detail meetings. I loved that I was able to do ceremony, reception, food/beverage, tables/chairs, linens, photobooth and even decor with them. It was so nice to have less outside vendors to coordinate. They throw an amazing tasting party where you get to sample a good portion of the menu items including drinks and meet other couples. The tier packages they have updated make it even easier to get an 'all inclusive' experience. (I also booked my bridal shower at Circa on Seventh and got some freebies for already having my wedding booked with them) Everyone I have run into since our wedding has RAVED about the food that it was the best wedding food they have ever had. We did custom cocktails that they special ordered ingredients for. As far as logistics, I was able to drop all my decor off the week of the wedding and did not have to pick up til the Monday after which was a HUGE RELIEF. The bridal suites are absolutely gorgeous and photograph well. There is not a spot for the guys to get ready but the staff had plenty of suggestions and partnerships with other close-by establishments. Also, my wedding was mid July and my dress was quite heavy so it did get hot on the dance floor even with AC. All in all, I would absolutely do it all over again. THANKS UPPER EAST/CULINARY INFUSIONS!!
