It was an apt name because the intricately carved mushroom exemplified the skill, beauty, and taste that Peg brought to Pittsburgh’s culinary scene. Today, thousands of weddings, corporate events, and private parties later, son Lee Deiseroth and his staff will bring that enduring style and sophistication to your next special event. Our goal is to create a uniquely you catering experience, which requires an understanding of your or your family’s personality and tastes.

Sewickley Quarter is a wedding reception venue situated in Sewickley, PA. This charming and intimate venue provides a beautiful setting for couples and guests to enjoy milestone occasions together. Ceremonies and receptions can easily be accommodated here, meaning that wedding parties can celebrate the entire day in a single location if desired. Located in the heart of Pittsburgh’s historic Strip District, The Art Room is a 4,000 square foot, modern industrial event space. Its rustic yet refined feel makes this space the perfect venue for your special occasion. The Art Room was born in Fall 2019 on the concept of creating an event space with the juxtaposition of industrial and fine arts. After seeing the rustic space, we started renovations right away. Given the timing of opening our space, we, like many others, were halted due to COVD-19. Beginning in the Spring of 2021 we were able to resume hosting events and honing in on the original concept of a versatile event venue partnered with a fine arts gallery.

Introduced in 1904, The Edgewood Club is located just minutes from downtown Pittsburgh in the hamlet of Edgewood Borough. Our tree-lined community provides a rural setting with all the conveniences of an urban location. Historic with pops of classical and bohemian chic our venue is the perfect location for your wedding or special event. The Edgewood Club is more than simply a place to relax. It’s a place to interact with like-minded people who understand the importance of sharing memorable experiences. The beauty of the club is that we will only host ONE wedding per weekend, be it a Friday, Saturday or Sunday. We love providing our host with the time necessary to enjoy their event and by no means are we a “cookie cutter” one in one out type of venue. It is so important that we build relationships and give our hosts the confidence to attend as a guest and enjoy the whole experience. We do only free listings and typically book a year to a year and a half in advance.

First, the property began showing films, before reopening as a concert hall, and finally closing its doors 80 successful years later. In 2019, the theatre reopened to welcome members of the public once again into a world of fun and creativity. Alla Famiglia was started in 1997. Another fine Italian restaurant created from the mind of David Ayn. In 2005, Ayn approached a young & ambitious chef Jonathan Vlasic to purchase the 8-table restaurant from him. Mr. Vlasic was a perfect fit to receive the baton and move the restaurant into a new future. Alla Famiglia has evolved into a restaurant which is a representation of the years of formal culinary training of Mr.Vlasic and his family of Roman&Emilia descent. The result was an eatery of superior quality with disciplined technique, vivid imagination, and passion for perfection. Through the next 14 years, the restaurant evolves, expands and stretches its footprint to accommodate its increasing popularity and growing demand. In 2014, Mr. Vlasic decides to purchase the property adjacent to the restaurant and bring his vision to a full circle. “Il Teatro” is born in the winter of 2017. It is now reinvented into its original depression art deco-era for Alla Famiglia guests to enjoy.

Cefalo’s Banquet and Event Center opened its doors in February 2005. Owners Leonard, Kathleen, and Dean Cefalo purchased the former Christ United Presbyterian Church and completely redesigned and renovated the over century old stone structure. The acoustically friendly main room sets the perfect stage for cocktail hour. The exclusive VIP loft oversees the stage and lounge. The banquet room is completely separate from the main club, allowing guests to have an intimate dining experience. ​We specialize in wedding receptions and corporate functions. Cefalo's is also available for fundraisers, showers, private parties, funeral luncheons, and many other types of events.
