Hey there! I'm Fernando Ávila. I founded Ellyce Wedding Films while my wife and I were planning our wedding in 2019. By this point, I had already accumulated 15 years of experience shooting wedding videos and my wife simply couldn't understand why I wasn't booking my own clients. She encouraged me to explore the idea. So, here we are. I named my company after my wife, Ebony Ellyce Ávila.

We capture moment to create memories. We tell your story with our lenses so that years from now you can go back and see all the big and small things from your special day. We know how important it was for us to relive our special day and we want to provide that to all the couple we meet! We absolutely love to tell stories in our own unique way!

I love coffee. I never leave home without it. I’m easy going. I love to chill. I’m a huge sports fan and I love watching Skip Bayless and others argue on Fox. Basketball was my first love and even in my thirties I still daydream about playing in the NBA. As a teenager, while most of my peers were listening to 2Pac and Biggie, I preferred Marvin Gaye, Al Green and The Temptations. I’ve been told that I have an old soul. At the end of the day I love life, I love my job and my customers always come first.

Our approach to wedding filmmaking is simple- deliver the most sincere, organic recollection of the day by acting as unnoticeably as possible. By eliminating the pressures of being filmed, our couples are able to enjoy each moment of their day and be truly present in the experience, providing us with an authentic and emotional collection of frames. Weddings are our passion and we enjoy being able to assist with planning, coordinating and timeline creation throughout the months leading up to your big day. Hi, I am Emily! I'm happy that you've landed on my page. I specialize in covering videography as well as photography. I have been shooting weddings since 2013. I fell in love with watching people be in love! You can't find a better gig. I went on to receive my Bachelor of Arts in 2019. I've really been able to put my education to work in regards to all things wedding films. When I'm not shooting weddings, I am doing real estate photography, binge watching Bob's Burgers and Saturday Night Live, or most likely eating something delicious. ;)

- I love running, dogs, donuts, yoga pants, Parks + Rec, Sherlock Holmes and a ton of other random stuff. - I am originally from San Diego, CA so adjusting to Chicago winters has been ROUGH. - My husband and I love to travel and find new adventures together, but also really enjoy a night in having absolutely no plans. I personally have always been in love with stories. Reading them, listening to them and finally telling them. There is something so incredible about how good stories can draw out deep emotion. THAT is what I love.

My name is Bailey O'Neal -- I am the owner + videographer of Avant-Garde Videography and I love making videos! I love going places with my camera and enjoy capturing the content around me. I love starting a new project, and having an open opportunity to be creative and original. And finally, I love making a product that can be used as a keepsake to help relive and remember special times.

I'm a wedding filmmaker based out of Chicago, IL and I love my job. It’s been nearly 4 years since I was asked to film my first wedding. Capturing the emotion, the details, and love portrayed from each couple’s special day has been unimaginably rewarding. I am thankful to everyone who has placed their trust in me to capture one of the most important days in their lives. When I’m not working I’m most likely trying to improve my latte art on my Breville Barista Express espresso machine or most importantly spending time with my beautiful wife and daughter. My goal is to create a family heirloom which can be passed down for generations to come.

When I think about the importance of wedding films, I often tell my clients that their wedding film is not necessarily for them. What I mean by that, is that our goal is to create a memory that generations can look back on and say.., “look at Grandma with her girlfriends!!” Or “I didn’t know papa was such a great dancer”. It’s this belief that drives my team and I to go above and beyond to make sure we have the most captured of a wedding day so that the final product remains a cherished memory that everyone can look back on and smile. By adding photography to our team, we are able to capitalize on video shots give it the best of both.
