Heart of Gold DJs is an all-woman & non-binary team of professional mobile DJs based in San Francisco. We provide all events with a customized mix of all your favorite tunes and none of the cheesy gimmicks.

We at Heart of Gold believe that you should be able to have an event that reflects who you are. We bring our love of Motown, New Wave, Indie Rock, Hip-Hop, Swing, and Pop Favorites to every event. From lofts to barns to libraries, we work closely with all of our clients to develop an event timeline and song list making sure to incorporate your toasts, family traditions, and, of course, favorite songs.

    DJ Sami and Heart of Gold DJs as a whole were phenomenal from start to finish. Not only was the booking and payment process easy, but Sami got to know us as a couple and helped us to solidify the details to create our perfect day musically. They also offered marvelous recommendations for the area as far as other vendors go and helped us in organizing other details for our day. Our guests have constantly commented on just how perfect THE MUSIC specifically was. Sami brought the party and created the most immaculate vibe. We are so happy! Sami and Heart of Gold are hands down the best DJ crew I’ve ever experienced.

    The day we were scheduled to meet DJ Christie to interview her, it was just one of those days where I was feeling a step behind. Stuck in traffic, couldn't find parking, now late to our first meeting, I was ready to give up and tell Christie and my now husband to go on without me. Without skipping a beat, Christie suggested I find a place to pull over and the two would join me in my car to have our meeting - she wasn't phased one bit! She was chipper as can be and pivoted so easily to accommodate us. I knew right then that we had to bring her on as our wedding DJ! We had a lot of stereotypical things wedding DJs do that we didn't want, and she understood and honored that. We danced the night away! All of our guests raved at how much fun they had dancing to her mix of songs and how much fun she seemed to be having as well. We highly recommend the Heart of Gold DJs, especially DJ Christie!
