A.H.R. florals is the love child of Arturo H. Ramirez, born & raised San Diegan and lifelong creator. Growing up picking massive french hydrangea from his Tita's garden and pretending to walk down the aisle wasn't for nothing. With a background in fashion design and a career in creative direction, Arturo was led to his own venture in floral design. What started as a helping hand for family weddings and parties turned into a passion that led to full floral installations and event design. Arturo takes pride in his ability to create a comfortable, fun environment and makes sure you receive your goods with a smile and a laugh.

I take a lot of pride in saying that I've never designed the same wedding twice. Blush and Burgundy crosses my path many times a year and I always find a way to personalize the design and experience. I want you to see those flowers for the rest of your lives and think "those were OUR wedding flowers". That's the A.H.R. promise.

    Arturo is such a creative talent and his florals are pieces of art that scream originality. I remember sitting down with him only having a vague idea of what I wanted and he was able to take little comments about color, personality, and lifestyle to whip up a vision that was spot on. It was refreshing to have a florist who just ‘gets it’ and not have to spend hours scouring the internet for outdated images of arrangements that I didn’t like anyway. Most importantly, I was one of Arturo’s 2020 brides (EEK!) and when I had to change venues he was incredibly gracious even though things did not work in his favor (through no fault of his own). When I didn’t know how to navigate the situation, Arturo contacted the new florist to try and keep our original plan intact and ensure his vision for my personal florals matched the reception florals at the new venue. The best part about working with Arturo was that I never had to worry. He’s flexible, funny, and has a great personality. He sets a high standard for himself and his work so I knew I would love whatever he designed. After working with him, I’m confident he could turn my least favorite color and plants into something I would like. He’s just that good. I cannot recommend him enough and I’m still looking for excuses to use Arturo again in the future!

    Arturo is one of my favorite people ever. He is so kind, professional, full of positive energy, and so dang CREATIVE. As a photographer, he always knows exactly what makes my job easier and creates such beautiful magic for me to photograph. When my couples tell me they hire him, I breath a hugeeee sigh of relief because I know it's going to be beautiful and a blast to shoot.
