I'm Angelica, the owner of Dawnpoint Studios! I'm an adventurous and internationally requested wedding/elopement photographer with a focus on sustainability! Here's an unexpected fact - I hated weddings when I first started second shooting them. It broke my heart to see couples being rushed, overwhelmed, and not truly having any connection to couples. That's what drove my passion to breath a fresh air into the wedding experience! Plan with intention, focus on being present, and building genuine relationships with couples! You should be heard, appreciated, and understood. You should feel encouraged to get married your way.

We are here to document, not direct. Dawnpoint Studios focuses on intentionally shooting, keeping couples present, and being there for you - more than as a photographer, but as a friend. We want to get to know you during engagement sessions, help plan out your timeline so the day runs smooth, and be a shoulder for you to lean on. Whether it's calming you down or hyping you up - our goal is that you soak in all the golden moments. In honor of every couple that books Dawnpoint Studios, we plant 10 trees in your name. Environmentalism has always been pivotal to Dawnpoint's business model. From local clean ups, volunteering and donating.

From the moment my husband and I met her, Angelica exuded warmth and professionalism, instantly putting us at ease during what could have been a stressful time. One of the most remarkable aspects of working with Angelica was her ability to make every photoshoot feel natural and relaxed. She has this innate talent for creating a comfortable atmosphere, which allowed us to be ourselves and truly enjoy the moment. Angelica's keen eye for detail and creativity shone through in every photograph she took. Not only did she capture all the traditional moments beautifully, but she also managed to seize those spontaneous, candid instances that truly encapsulated the joy and love shared among our family and friends.     My now husband and I started our wedding journey in 2021. I came across Dawnpoint studios from another bride in a Facebook page. We met with Angelica via zoom and we knew we wanted to have her at our wedding. She is the most down to earth human being on top of her amazing work. She was patient with us when our engagement shoot was rescheduled due to weather, she was a gem the day of our wedding, and crafted a beautiful album for us to look back on. Look no further than Angelica and her team!!

    I was ecstatic when Angelica agreed to photographed mine and my husband's mountain elopement, not only because she was my #1 choice for photographers to capture this meaningful day in our lives, but also because she agreed (and was excited) to hike up a mountain to make our dream elopement come true. There are not many photographers who would climb 4,000ft in elevation gain in only 3.5 miles with their equipment, but Angelica was up for the adventure and took the most incredible photos of our private elopement. The pure, raw emotion she's able to capture in her photos is simply magical. Angelica's kind, warmhearted, and open personality can make anyone feel comfortable in front of a camera. This mattered a lot to us because neither my husband or I like being in front of a camera much, but she made us feel comfortable and just be ourselves. We will cherish the photos Angelica took for us for the rest of our lives.
