James & I feel led to work with couples like you in this season of life by serving with a gracious attitude, intentional prayer for your marriage, and encourage you through the hard times! Typically, couples book 9-20 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
At this time we are only offering photography services. I have great friends in the area that offer video services that pair well with our experience! I'm happy to share their information with you!
Our wedding experience includes James and myself at your wedding! Having two photographers means you have coverage in two places at the same time! Some weddings we are able to bring an assistant (at no cost to you) to help cover the day but that is not always guaranteed.
This differs for every wedding depending on MANY factors like: hours of coverage, size of bridal party, # of wedding guests, how many details you have, if you share any first looks, your reception events, if your guests are big party dancers, etc. Like I said, there are a lot of factors but generally speaking I would say anywhere from 75-100 images per hour of coverage.
My turnaround time varies by season but our turnaround time is typically 4-8 weeks. Your photos will be sent via an online gallery with high-resolution image files. So you can download & share the photos with your loved ones and order prints within your gallery!
All final images will be edited in a true to life brighter edit with bold colors & classic feel to capture your day in a timeless way. We cull through the out of focus and unflattering shots and give you only the best ones! *No RAW photos are given to protect our credibility & consistency for future clients*
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
In my 6 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking or not shown up to one of my weddings. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll send one of my trusted friends in the industry in my place (at no cost to you). Or if you'd like to find a replacement you have the ability to do so. See your contract for details.
All wedding day travel fees are included in your package price. Engagement sessions local to Virginia are also included in this all inclusive rate. If your engagement session is a destination location or includes travel outside of Virginia there may be extra costs. All Destination Weddings are custom prices to include travel fees.
