Soon after Juan and Emily got married in 2018 Juan began his photography career as a light technician in LA. Juan studied journalism for his undergrad, and this is when he was gifted his first camera and his interest in photography was sparked. Emily's childhood dream was to be a photographer, and after working for years as an ICU nurse she is able to do just that alongside Juan. We are energized by the creativity that photography brings, and the light and joy we experience from meeting couples.

Our documentary approach is simple. We want you to be able to relive the moment with our photos. Therefore, our style is organic and filled with candid moments, with an artistic mix of motion blur and classic film photography. For years, we have used these styles to create genuine stories. Our goal is for couples to have fun and be present with each other which results in unfabricated moments and photos with feeling. Just as in everyday life, we believe the unnoticed and small moments between you and your partner are what make your love story real and beautiful.

    Juan and his wife Emily took the most BEAUTIFUL photos of my fiancé and I in Asheville, NC. His style is classic with a modern twist. He captures movement shots that look like we were sprinting off to a romantic getaway. His wife helped capture images as well and provided some great input on several shots. Both so kind, patient, and good at their job. I am so thankful to have such priceless photos. I recommend Juan and Emily for any event that you want to capture the memories via photo.

    Juan was a wonderful photographer for our family photos. He was prompt, prepared and a true joy to be around. Everyone in my family felt comfortable with him and he was so encouraging throughout the photoshoot. Even with 3 small children, Juan managed to get all the shots.     Working alongside Juan was my best experience of photographing with a second shooter in all of 2022! He is collaborative with the other vendors as well as the couple. A great listener and leader, he is helpful as well as overflowing with ideas of his own! He also has an impressive in-depth knowledge of light, color, and film. Juan is insightful and excited for every part of the day. His hybrid approach to shooting digital and film is sure to provide all the clients he works with, an album they will look back on, with joy and refreshed excitement forever.
