A Touch of Whimsi is a planning/event co based out of Knoxville TN. We serve all of TN as well as offering destination/travel planning. We go where you need us! I’m Kate, the owner, and I care about your day and offer customer service couples can count on! I am a certified planner and I’ve been doing weddings since 2008 and I’m passionate about making sure your day is as beautiful to you as mine was to me! Every lead coordinator and assistant on my team has been fully trained by me! We form a connection with you and I add my personal touch to every package! With our attention to detail, your day will be everything you’ve dreamed of!

I am a master planner, I care about you , and it is my attention to detail, and my ability to fine tune those details, that will make your day run smoothly! It is my job to make sure that I handle all of the details so you can relax. When you look back years from now on your wedding day, you will have memories of a lifetime!

    I don't even know where to begin, Kate is ABSOLUTELY amazing, awesome, experienced and such a joy to work with! I honestly don't know how we would've gotten through our wedding day without her, there were a few major issues that she not only handled QUICKLY but also issues I didn't even know about she was able to wisely decide about which was so helpful. Our 3-tier wedding cake dropped, she and others were able to handle that situation, and even after the fact she vouched with our cake-vendor on my behalf which meant so much to me. Wedding day aside, as soon as we booked her she reached out to me consistently checking base, sharing tips, and constantly communicated about planning which made the whole process SO EASY. She is a God-sent and everyone needs a Kate for their wedding. Kate thank you so much, you truly are the best.

    Kate provided very good “day of wedding planning”! She actually did a lot before my daughter’s wedding day… she was so very pleasant and timely leading up to the wedding day and the actual ceremony and reception. It wouldn’t have happened without her I’m sure. Kate has an accurate sense of timing and making sure everything goes smoothly! I did not see her slow down, eat a bite or standing around ever.
